Channel 9 shows the featured SKY Sports UK games from the weekend on Monday night at around 2300. If Quins are a featured match they will be shown.

But this season we've been so poor that we've only featured 2 or 3 times.
You can see which games are coming up on TV here:
www.rugbyleagueontv.co.uk/
BTW, we won't be called Harlequins next season. Take a look about the end of this month to find out our new name.

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

I think the same question asked in the Twickenham area would meet the same response, perhaps even stronger, those dammed floodlights for night games, less we forget!
It's not just the area, more important it is knowing we will be a tenant for life, which could change at any time, even at a whim!
Anyway as a loyal Hammer supporter no mentioning that team M or the other Premiership club based in North London! LOL
We have just got to accept to disagree Dave, you will never change your position whatever happens, in my case I thought it was a good move to take the name of our tenants but no longer and long term it is best to break all ties with them completely, which you will never agree about even if we do find the correct area and stadium one day of our own or as part owners.

| Whatever the name next season the club is certainly signing up some talent for 2012.

All that is important now for 2012 is turning it around to have a winning team that will hopefully build the supporter base, interesting which way we will look at marketing.'"
In my opinion,it has to become succesful at the Stoop over the course of the next franchise if we are to have a longer term future. Without that it is doubtful we will get new investment or perhaps not get another franchise. So thoughts of other grounds are somewhat irrelevent.

Thanks mate, I knew about that. It's a bit late though, the games finish around 2am. Staying up that late on a Monday Night doesn't sit well.
I was hoping there was other ways to watch it, its hard to be a supporter from this far away when you only have one game a week.
When i was a young fella and still learning where and when Rugby League was played, i choose the London Broncos as my Super League team, I don't know why and no i don't support the Brisbane Broncos.
When they changed the name, colours and jersey i lost interest. That along with a going to parties to met up with lady friends took priority over your competition, don't think you could blame me too much for that though
Now I am older, I write on the game here in Australia and sometimes over internationals. I follow the game at all levels from park footy to internationals (no matter where they are played, yes including the games in the USA). I'm trying to get into the Super League once more, I can get information and news easily its just footage which is hard. I enjoy the way Leeds and Wigan (little Melbourne) plays. But I'm not one to jump on a bandwagon of a team that is currently going through a period of greatness. I want to grow my support for the team over a long period of time the success of the club will be appreciated and enjoyed a lot more. I tried to support Leeds, as they have a partnership with my NRL team but failed in that quest because they wear the same colours as the Parramatta Eels (My clubs biggest rival, and most hated).
So please bare with me over the course of the next season as i try to get back into the swing and support the London RLFC, whatever our name is next year.

In some ways Yes, but do you forget about saving for a small pension as it will not be happening for some years and you might not make it, No! When it comes to the next franchise application we must be clear how we are going forward, I feel a lot may be going on that we are not privy to long term with RFL being closely involved.

Mate, we can get the BBC London live commentary feed over here. But as a Quins fan I have found no way of being able to watch a quins matches here. If you have Foxtel IQ or Austar you can record it?
Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

I dunno Dave, based on my experience of having lived for a number of years in enemy territory, if marketed correctly I think it might work. Something along the lines of ' A summer sport for when the football season's over - there's lots of Northerners to have a fight with - and without the bother of having to go all the way to Magalluf!!'

Can you point out where I made an anti-union remark? I don't think I did.
Anyway we'll just have to agree to disagree on the Stoop and the Twickenham area for RL.
Regarding Brentford - there were quite a few games were two sides were almost full. I prefered Griffin Park for the atmosphere, local pubs and transport links. I seem to recall you used to like it too (unless I've mixed you up with another board member!)

Cheers, if the ESL ever gets most or all of the games televised over there all the games would definitely be shown here.
Then I would record the games on IQ, the problem is there is only one game shown over here and ita mostly other teams. Channel 9 (free to air network) are merkins and treat Rugby League (both NRL and ESL) poorly, when foxtel had the rights to the ESL they showed it professionally.
But thanks for your responses!

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| I don't get all this about how great GP was.
If you had to use the trains, Brentford was pretty hopeless with only 1 train an hour on Sundays and getting kicked out for 7 games in the middle of summer was an absolute bummer.
Football stadia just won't work for us.
