Hey, lay off him! I think he speaks Sentellins so leave the gratuitous insults to any wiginners around here.
I think he’s just finding it difficult to square the phrase “Homeless in 2015” with “We may stay put and pay rent”. Classing renters as homeless is a wacky idea, even for this forum. It’s not the language he has a problem with, it’s the logic.
By the way if you reap what you sew does that mean your garden is overgrown with cardies? CHEERS

Given one of the things that may occur as a result of the Hive not wanting to have the year 2 option is that we may have to leave, connecting the headline to the "rumoured" problem shouldn't prove too troublesome....even for a northerner . Solly pulled the "wool" over all of our eyes as he has "designs" on a better job with Knock-down Nigel. Surprised it's taken you this long to "cotton on"
...have i done enough to deflect from my basic spelling error

| Thanks joeo, at least someone gets me !!! I guess if I had presented my last statement in 5 paragraphs laiden with fact after fact then GF might have got it.
Its the logic I have an issue with. Your topic title 'Homeless in 2015', wouldnt you say thats rather sensationalist ? As we drill down into the basis of this, referencing your relaible source, there appears to be nothing that gives the headline any credance.
Or has this narrow minded fool missed something ?

The hive don't want us with a guaranteed 250k + residuals + marketing bribe. What chance 2015?
Good luck removing your head from where it is currently stuck.......

I'm not going to go over your claims for this season again as the investment to allow Broncos to play at the hive is evident to most, but what has these got to do with next season?
The issue is the available revenue this year isn't going to be there next year. The average home fan is paying under £15 when you factor memberships, concessions and kids. With the away fans all but disappearing then the income to the Hive for Broncos staying will drop significantly. My guess is that TK has done the maths and decided the margin next season is too tight to be viable using the current model.

| I don't know about everyone else but (assuming we are at the Hive) I'm going to go to more games next year. Id much rather see a winning side in the Super Championship Elite 1 league than a guaranteed loss every year.

| As i said in an earlier post - i am looking forward to next season. We have a coach, he seems to be building a team and we will have a proper pre-season. OK we will have lost some players, but the last 3/4 seasons we have rarely been competitive and probably havent won 10% of the games we have playsed (i am sure gutters will provided to 4 decimal places.)
But this post is very depressing and i now am worried. I hope at the lunch tomorrow some comment etc is made about next season.

| Don't expect any announcements or denials at the lunch tomorrow;even if there was information that event is not the place. We're there to honour our club's great players and build some pride back in the place - turning the "team" into a "club".

I started supporting a club.......I don't care what division they play in or where they play, if they can return to that club ethos again then that's good enough for me.

| Quote: meliferra "That just isn't true.
Take last weekend,
At least 500 of the people there got in free either as kids and parents from local schools, friends and family of players, U19s, U16s or Barnet FC members, several hundred only went because they were offered free food as well. It's also very noticeable that when a crowd declared as 1100 for a Broncos game, it looks significantly smaller than an 1100 crowd for a Barnet game, it has been blatantly obvious to me that the figures have been boosted to ensure the crowd stayed above 1K and some of those games I am still unconvinced there was 1k+ in the ground .
I suspect Barnet FCs average of 1700 represents a 90%+ paying entrance, of which 1350 are home supporters, I would be surprised if Broncos figures of 1200 represent more than 70% who actually paid to get in and of which I doubt more than 5-600 are Broncos fans. So next season with no big clubs coming you are looking at sub 500 crowds imo.'"
Interesting take on the +1,000 crowds from this year...

| Must be galling for you that the Hive made such an effort to boost numbers and prove you wrong. Maybe they used their bribe to achieve it?

1280 average is not an achievement.....it is 45% down on 2013 and the first time in 19 seasons that we have had a decrease in our first year at a new stadium

Actually, it is quite some achievement to have a 43% decrease on the diabolical crowds of 2013. Not many would have thought that possible.
