| The real issue is here that the football club that owns The Hive is apparently struggling to keep locals on side enough to let them play there, so how are we meant to get permission? Does anyone have any info. on whether this is at all viable?

Another bad news story here. If it's reliable, I have no idea.
www.superleaguefans.com/london-b ... eague.html
Bottom of the league London Broncos may be forced to pull out of Super League in 2014.
The Sun are reporting that RFL bosses have said to have met Broncos backer David Hughes before Saturday’s Challenge Cup Final as the Broncos so far have nowhere to play next season and may pull out of the league next season.
The Broncos have been averaging attendances around 2,000 for matches at the Stoop and just 1,136 saw their road game against Catalan Dragons at Molesey Road. Even their Challenge Cup fourth round tie against Bradford at the Stoop attracted 1,237 people.
If Broncos do drop out of Super League in 2014l, the RFL could run Super League with 13 teams but ambitious Featherstone Rovers are reportedly prepared to make up the shortfall if called upon.

| Quote: Halfdan of t'wide embrace "I'm hearing all that sort of stuff has been provisionally agreed and signed off by all relevant parties however it is subject to us finding and funding an appropriate ground. If we get the ground the rest should fall into place quite quickly.
I'm not aware of what has been decided re overseas players but as has been mentioned the immigration laws and strong Aussie dollar could pose challenges so we if granted we could end up with people who can get a GB passport from below the current top level.'"
Reading between the lines I suspect it is down to DH to continue funding us after he retires which means he has a lot less money available. If Anthony Kleanthous was a partner "finding and funding an appropriate ground" would only be an issue in terms of whether the Hive was upto the Standards required by the RFL so DH needs to cut a good deal on the Hive that he can show he can afford and we must hope the RFL relax their rules on the current stadium requirements. Ive never been to Cas but i hear their ground is in a poor state so some leeway is already being shown. After what has been done to help the Bulls as well it would look bad for them to throw us to the wall when we don't have financial problems (yet) and we are moving to a new ground to protect our financially viability.

| My source doesn't expect the RFL to block a move to a Hive size ground.
It's beginning to sound like Barnet or oblivion. Sounds like end game has started so we should know soon.

| The Sun? (That is the article Super League Fans are quotingO are running an article today, but they are saying that we May not compete in Super League next season, and that seems to be based on a meeting held Saturday at Wembley between David Hughes and RFL, which is rumoured that it was stated that no ground agreement is signed yet, I think that was due to waiting for the RFL to be in agreement. It seems it is very much rumour of putting 1+1 together and coming up with =3

I would summise from this that Barnet have permission to play there from the Council.

If Barnet have to play despite the residents objections they dont have much choice as there is no alternative i guess. They must know from the lease whether they can sublet it out to others and the DH and AK must know the answer.

Just one thing , your supporters need to drop that massive M62 chip from your shoulders as I think you will find most are willing you to survive.
Good luck from the team that the RFL can't kill ........Cas'"
The sentiments above we're meant from the heart but on reflection and due to the response on other threads from your odious , ignorant fan base . I have changed my mind and can't wait to see the end of such a shower of half wits , our game doesn't need you.
Bye losers

Wow, I'll take the bait, no one appreciates you coming onto our forums to bash our club while most of our fans don't know if we will have a club to support next season.
You're a fool of the highest order, and I'm glad school is back next week as we won't be seeing so much of you around, for anyone that can't understand what London Weighting means, and how that doesn't give us an advantage, but allows us to be on a level playing field. And then to say our fans our "odious and ignorant", wow. You are one of the worst trolls that have come onto this board in recent years, which includes many in that list. Go back to school and learn something before coming back and telling us all an opinion we don't care about hearing.

| It is along time since I lived in London so I hope you guys can clear this up for me.
When I heard that you had the possibility to move in with Barnet FC I thought it was a good move for you (not the best but better than the Stoop in my mind) but reading your forums I am a little confused.
Have Barnet moved from the Underhill ground to what was their training ground as their main paying location. And as such if you do move would it be to this ground?
Is the Underhill not available?
I always felt that holding you back has been the location of your grounds, without easy Tube access it puts off a lot of supporters travelling (Home fans I am talking about). Both grounds have a tube close(ish) - as Londoners living down there now, do you think the access to the tube will help attendances?
