| why do you seem to think he was sacked as captain?
He probably decided he'd had enough and told the club as much, so the captaincy was up for changing.
Best to do it that way then announce that he is going!
Then again nothing has been confirmed yet!
TBH I would not be surprised tho, lots of us had high hopes for this season, and what has happened?
CG was probably thinking yeah might be ok young squad enthusiastic etc etc etc
He ended up being the only one that actually seemed to have any clue what was going on around the park, and because of that opposition then batter him, at least beaver over at dragons has some decent support play around him.
Surprised he has stayed around so long to be honest, thought maybe Luke Dorn might have gone elsewhere with all the slagging off he gets from the fans on here.
More worrying are the alleged comments re training! would explain a lot, if the training regime is poor then how can we compete on the park!!
so who can we get as a replacement? knowing our lot of going for experience through age they would probably try to get Billy Boston to put some boots on again

The company line....."for personal reasons."

Doubt we'll ever know for sure as to why he's gone, but I'd love to know what's changed in the last 7 months to make him change his mind about us.

| BTW.....his players registration?
Do we hold it?
rlhttps://www.londonbroncosrl.com/news/4678.phprl
If he pulls on an NRL shirt before the start of the 2015 season and we haven't received a transfer fee, then it yet again shows that the club lack the business sense to stand toe to toe with the other 29 professional RL clubs on the planet!

As for the Championship or below.....I doubt the Skolars would have made the progress they have over recent years if it weren't for a London SL side. An academy set up without a SL club would simply become a feeding ground for Union scouts. If we fold, the RL will retreat to the north........and with each passing week, less and less people will care.'"
This was said of Crusaders but in reality, it has made no difference to the game's popularity or its geographical spread.
I would imagine that a continuing SL academy side would have a relationship with an actual SL side as I believe Whitehaven do. The best London lads will go north but they do anyway but there will be enough good 'uns left to make a very decent semi-pro side with the chance to build and dream.

He's a selfish house. Not the best player we've had at London by a long stretch. Competitive, determined etc but nothing special- Rangi showed him how to play in the halves at the weekend. A real go to player(yes I know they are 6 and 7)'"
Have you never changed jobs because you weren't happy?

| Again let's just wait and see if we get money. For the player to get his rego, we will. Will the club announce such a thing. No. You won't get to hear about it. It's none of our business.

All I am saying is that if he plays pro/semi-pro RL before 2015 we should get a fee. You and I can debate if we do or not until the cows come home, but given the "form" of the current administration, I'd say the odds are in favour of us receiving not a ing bean!

Yep

Again, another dig without any foundation as to what will happen. We should get something, we have his rego. Your dislike of the CEO is getting in the way of what will happen.

| Given Craig was, in the words of David Hughes at a fans forum, one of the highest paid players in the league I suspect we will have waived the right to compensation to get him off the wage bill a.s.a.p.
There's clearly been a huge breakdown in relationship and the club have decided they don't want him around. Given the saving in wages and the fact they wanted him gone why risk stuffing up his chances of moving by demanding a fee - which given his age and the possibility he has signed as a back up wouldn't have been huge?
We, quite rightly, don't know the sums involved but waiving a fee may well have made good business sense sadly.

I couldn't care less about a fee. I'm more concerned about the fact that the management's relationship with our best player and captain has deteriorated to the extent he jumps ship in the middle of the season.
The club is a shambles, the only good thing I've seen this season is the red shirt and you can't buy that.

| Quote: gutterfax "I would never wish that on any team, but if it were to happen, I suspect Gillingham would be off the agenda for a new home.
I would hope that TR is working on nothing other than defence, defence, defence. If Wire get a sniff, they will hammer us, but the longer we can frustrate them the better. They will be focused, but not as focused as if they were playing a top team, so if we can hold them for 20 minutes or so, then we are in with a chance of still being in the game by half time.
Thereafter......it's down to Clubb to keep the team focused and fitness. The team should expect to make twice the number of tackles they did last weekend.
All I'd say to TR is don't pich anyone who is not 100% fit...'"
They should have been working on defence defence defence from January.
How is Clubb going to keep the team focused when he spends half the game on the bench? Thought waves?

Well maybe he'll be able to fire Kaufusi up from there.

| I'm surprised he stuck it out this long.
He may have been highly paid, but you can't say he didn't earn it, always gave 100%. I wish him luck.
We, on the other hand, need a bloody miracle.
