I agree with you. Lots of us, including me, have had a good moan about the clubs shortcomings. Personally, I've made my point so I don't feel the need to repeat it.

Gus is pretty dim though.
Perhaps you should repeat it only in crayon & in words of 2 syllables or less?

Point of order. There are 18 threads on the front page of the London Broncos forum and this one, the MARKETING THREAD and the Catalans game thread are the only ones where I have berated Gus or delivered stats, whilst questioning the validity of the plan for the future or the reasoning behind us even moving in the first place. The Catalan thread game thread BTW was where I was positive about the result until paddock piped up about me being deluded and even then I posted 1 entry that was tongue in cheek and ended with some stats on Mr A. Morley (which you responded to BTW)...the rest of my Gustastical negativity is in this thread, meaning there are other 16 threads surrounding the team, ticketing, Memberships, Visas, Wigan in London and loads of other nice fluffy stuff for those of a nervous disposition.....
2/18 is about 11% of the threads on the London landing page. If you feel the need to exaggerate the amount of threads I am actually being negative in, it points to you spending far too much time reading my posts rather than the ones like the U19's at Hemel at the same time Gus will be hiding behind Blake Solly and David Lawrenson.
Have to laugh at the need for the RFL to be present to give the forum any credence.

I think to be effective it would need to be one syllable combined with pain compliance.

Damned if they do and damned if they don't of course.
I shan't be attending but imagine that some of those who do would be pleased at the opportunity to question Mr Solly.

How so? The "fans forums" promised in 2013 were nothing to do with the RFL. The only reason he wants Solly there now is because Solly was the one that closed the deal with AK. Hughes was playing hard ball and the RFL needed us for 2014 to keep Sky happy.....or are you one of those who believe that the Hive deal for 2014 is a cracking bit of business?
Quote: BroncOnIon "I shan't be attending but imagine that some of those who do would be pleased at the opportunity to question Mr Solly.'"
Q1. Mr Solly. What do you believe are the long term benefits of the new tenancy agreement you helped negotiate for the club past the end of this licencing period? Can you assure us that the move to the Hive at the 11th hour wasn't only pressed for and guaranteed by the RFL to ensure an easy transition to 12 clubs at the end of the year and to protect the TV deal which was signed with a 14 team competition in mind?
Q2. Mr Lawrenson. What Marketing and Media assistance will you be giving the Club in the coming season to try and arrest the alarming decline in attendances and interest? Is this level of assistance higher or lower than previous year?
Q3. Mr MacKay. Is the new tenancy at the Hive and the subsequent agreement for them to carry out marketing and administration an admission by you that the £6,000,000 in losses incurred over the last 3 seasons, together with the total waste of about 10% of this on bad marketing, proves you are bereft of any idea of how to give the club a fighting chance of survival?
Q4. To them all. What steps (if any) are CURRENTLY being taken to make London Broncos a viable Championship level organisation, or will the club and RFL make those decisions after we are relegated?

Cracking questions GF! Thanks!Great contribution.I trust these have been emailed also? Here is the email that they have asked us to email the questions to; david.lawrenson@rfl.uk.com. Really think this open communication will be good to take the club forward, to let it all out, so to speak, and start afresh.

Obviously having Solly there gives the event greater credibility but it would not have none without him.

Good questions though I don't see the need for the full frontal attack on Gus rather than a more subtle approach which could achieve the same end.

Agree. This is not a public lynching or mob mentality opportunity against Gus. We are all adult enough to move on and think of solutions than stay stuck in the past. Good point re:the need for emailing questions. Not much of a vetting process as am sure there will be questions open to the floor on the day.

| I can't believe the ego of both gutter fax and rooster booster, do you really think anybody is interested in your petty squabbles. You two clearly do, but it's tedious boring self serving crap. Why not go off line, or even better stay off line for ever.

If my point of view isn't to your liking, then maybe you should check out the ignore function that is open to you, but advice on where, when and what I post from you, I don't need.
BTW, Cracking effort for a newbie who it seems joined just to share the above post with us.... and welcome to the Boards

Agreed, but he doesn't make it easy on either himself or the fans.
Quote: RLLDN "We are all adult enough to move on and think of solutions than stay stuck in the past. '"
One of the problems is that regardless of if we had solutions, ideas or strategies that would help the club, this current deal prevents us from actually doing anything. We had a perfectly handy group of volunteers, as well as other fans who were willing to help out where possible, but now we are at the mercy of the marketing ability of the team at the Hive.
Quote: RLLDN "Good point re
I suspect that the questions from the floor will be mainly of a positive nature. I doubt many of the "lapsed" fans or ST holders who will pick their games in 2014 will bother attending, so it will probably be a few membership applicants and die-hards. Any questions that are emailed will of course be vetted....the "panel" are hardly going to sit there and state that the Hive is anything other than a brilliant bit of business...especially when 2 of the 3 are the ones who put it together.
I wonder if Paddock Punter will attend?
