Selling season tickets to supporters is a fairly crucial element if the club are ever going to be a success. The club are crowing every day through social media about trivial things such as taxis, your favourite Broncos players and how the RFL put the clubs image on the Wembley big screen for them. Yet they can't do the bread and butter properly.

14,850 seats at the stoop...3,124 was the average gate last year......79% empty.
Seriously.....there are 6 blocks that are currently available for ST holders...these blocks hold approximately 3,000. Come back and whine when they are all sold out and you are being pushed past the 40 meter line icon_rolleyes.gif

Be thankful there is a club to support. Be thankful that there is a decent stadium toupport them in. Be thankful we have a CEO who at least seems to be trying.

some people have very short memories........14 months ago we were worried we wouldn't have anything at all.....

Its quite cringeworthy to be honest. Its like you and Paddock have swapped roles.

You are missing the point GF. Some people want allocated seating for whatever their personal reasons are. There is money to make by providing AE on Ethiad and LV stands at a higher premium for allocated seating and the club have not used this to created more wealth. I know it wont be a lot of money but it is money none the less which the club need and every little helps. It would only be a small area either side of the pitch and a much larger area for unallocated seating the result = hopefully everyone is happy as they either pay up or shut up. Allocated seats for those who really want them and are prepared to pay for them or any one of a number of available seats cheaper - not rocket science is it. Surely the club can easily steward such a small area without too much hassle

No I would not really rate it a mess, just something needs to be sorted out and I am sure can be.

It just gets so frustrating that one or two here now so called supporters will say anything they can against the club and the way its run, half expect them to be stood outside of The Stoop next season with a hand banner "The End is Nigh" - some people get drawn into the games they are playing, that is what they want!

Best is just let them get on with it, one day they will see not sure if they will ever accept they are in a very small minority.

Many of us now seem to agree things are looking better for 2012, but everything is not perfect yet and that could never happen overnight, we have got to be constructive and see what happens but at the same time not hide away from saying when we feel things need to be changed, its no use just having a whine here, David Hughes and Gus listen! but they at the end of the day have to make a decision what they feel is best for the majority of supporters and The Club!

Might be going against the grain here but I'm happy to have unreserved seating for our STs. Unless we are getting sell out crowds it won't be a problem getting our four seats together and it means that if we want to bring anyone else along they can buy a ticket for the relevant block and sit with us. It also gives us the freedom to move around a bit if we don't like the company!

I'm also happy that the LV stand is open for business as it was for the latter part of this season as I prefer watching from nearer to the pitch.

So, for me, it's well done Gus and co on this one.

I am prepared, as I was with the super dooper marketing manager from 2009, to give Gus time to get things sorted. Because I repeat this, I am a lap dog? What did strike me was the enthusiasm that he has for the club and for making it a success.....
Carley or whatever she was called messed about with 5,000 oyster cards and a viral video seen by nobody.......she got both barrells from me and in my opinion, deservedly so. If Gus takes his foot off the gas and/or makes the same kind of basic errors then his inbox will light up like the Oxford Street Xmas lights, but as it stands:

New Badge is OK....it gets better each time I look at it.
New Shirts are OK. All black kit...........I like it. The coloured one.....jury's still out.
ST prices are OK...in fact, they are outstanding VFM.
10 Black cabs is 10000000% better than anything since the free VB in 2005
Video and ad at Wembley is 10000000% better than anything since the free VB in 2005
2 Games on the road in 2012 will have cheap travel options to wherever they are played......good move by the club IMO.

Yes, some people would prefer to have a reserved seat. As I have said, email or even call Gus to discuss this option. I am sure that he will listen to reasoned opinions as to why reserved seating should be reintroduced, but if he doesn't, then that's his decision.

I am the biggest critic of the club for their off-field shennanigans, but as before in 2006 and again when Carly joined, I will at least have the good manners to let them make massive mistakes before I rip into them.

Listy, if you and Nigel really have issues with the club then for gods sake, call him and let him know. It's fans like you 2, the sidcup massive etc that he needs to find.....don't just whine on the boards, it does no good at all.

I feel more enthusiastic and hopefull about the club than at any other time I have followed them.

I recently found an old programme from February 2002 v Castleford in the Nutrigrain CC..........

We were called the London Broncos
It was our first match at GP (and it must have been my first game)
IIRC it was 12 quid a ticket or a tenner on the Ealing road terrace
Replica Shirts were 50 quid each
We had Cowgirls
ST's started at 99 Quid and you could pay more for a "gold" membership if you wanted
Car Parking was a fiver
There was a new initiative...A supporters Action Group
London League Publications sponsored "away tries"
StormingBronco was a miserable old git icon_biggrin.gif
We Lost....but I was still hooked!
Stuart Cummings was the first of many Referees I "shared an opinion" with icon_cool.gif
That season 3,803 was the average gate....I'd be happy with that this year.

10 years later....not a lot has changed

Fully agree! it is no use is fighting each other here on the forum, I have found Gus really helpful and willing to listen each time I have approached him.

That first season I remember so well at Charlton, I liked it!

Can you remember the marketing guy then, he was so good and helpful, I would often have to leave before raffles were drawn to make the journey home 225 miles, but he always let me know the results, he had such enthusiasm I can see his face but not remember his name!!!!

I'm still a bit confused. So season ticket holders are guaranteed one of these 3000 or so seats?
