| I was more impressed by Michael Channing than anyone else yesterday. He slogged his guts out.

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| Michael Channing is developing all the time, many of our young players seem to have really formed a bond & the club means a lot to them!

| I can understand why some are expressing disappointment re conceding the win in the in the way that we did but equally the performance overall was much more encouraging across the team.
Its true to say as one poster has that the loss would not be tolerated in that manner by the fans of any other club. But we are the Broncos and not like to many other clubs are we?
Ive been the first to knock them recently but on saturday they really put in.
Unfortunately instead of playing it simple in the closing stages and safely taking up for the six tackles we elected to try and force it and it backfired.
Im certainly feeling more positive after the last couple of results.
Hopefully I will be feeling much the same way for some time to come.

| The game does break down in to 20 min segments with the dominant team controlling that 20 sat was classic for that and the last 20 belonged to hull
2 scores generally is not enough to secure a game 3 is, sadly we missed a conversion otherwise we ould have had 14 point buffer
After first 20 mins of that game I would have put money on a draw
Would Gower have made a difference I doubt it very much
In my eyes it was a fair result and not a bad game, and yep hull try looked fwd hey ho that's life, all in all the ref had a good game
What could have won it for us, well the defensive line speed is slow, we don't go and meet the ball carrier, hull were out of the blocks a lot quicker
Picking on j oc is harsh he did not cost us the point

Exactly! That's why I was so pi55ed off with letting a point slip on Saturday - unless we catch one of those lot on a bad day I don't see too many points to be picked up in the next 5 games, although if the weather stays like this .........

If they'd got their act together at the start and beaten Widnes and Wakey we'd have had those points to buffer our selves when the drought surely comes here on in. If Gower really has a groin strain that could be serious for us. Lets hope this bad weather works in our favour againts Catalans.

Having seen your performance in awful conditions at Cas, and the game on Saturday I think you handle sh*t conditions very well. Cats will obviously not like the English winter weather so I think you have a good chance of an upset. Good luck!!

Thats what you get from this Lad. Wish he was bigger but as ive said before hope he can move to hooker where he could be very effective. There will be a vacancy at the end of season.

| Kieran Dixon's try was brilliant. He made a fool of Thomas Briscoe, supposedly Englands No 3 winger, in the course of it.
Soon people will be comparing Kieran Dixon to Jason Robinson.

2 things - you have mentioned Briscoe is a winger, he was playing full back and his positioning all afternoon was awful! Should have hung on in the tackle though.
Secondlly, they are already comparing him to Robinson - there was an article last week

At the risk of someone suggesting I am willing to accept mediocrity my comment suggesting I
hope to have a bit of a good feel good factor for a good while to come is based on the fact that we
have put two very decent performances together. I am not suggesting we will turn over the above,
though as we all know Cats dont always travel well as we have seen over the years and I think if we are
are on our game a win versus Bradford is not out of the question at home.
But yes I am one of those fans who whilst obviously wanting to see a win every week I can accept
a loss, draw whatever as long as I have seen the team put on a performance.
Thinking about it Leeds away and Saints at home are not exactly no hopers although I accept
Wire will be.

| I think that the St Helens side who won 54-0 on our ground on the 6th July 2008 was as strong a side as I've ever seen here with a starting line up that day of :
Wellens; Gardner, Gidley, Talau, Meli; Pryce, Long; Graham, Cunningham, Hargreaves, Sculthorpe, Wilkin and Roby.
But they are living off a past reputation after years of underinvestment in the playing squad and the team that scraped past Salford is not one we need fear:
Wellens; Gardner, Turner, Jones, Meli; Charnock, Wilkin; Perry, Ashe, Puletua, Manu, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, and Flanagan.
I don't see St Helens as being any stronger than Hull FC/Hull KR, so if we turn up with the right attitude we will do well.
We have also won away at Leeds twice in four seasons and Mac is not known for performances in the regular rounds nor for the quality of his acquisition so that is a game we could do well in.
Having seen our last two thrashings at Warrington away, that is about the only game I am really nervous about but that being said I don't see us having Karl Pryce and O'C on one side or us rotating Dave Williams and Ben Bolger this year.
Although our home form is not too great, don't forget we have lost to Wigan and Huddersfield away as well, so we have lost 2 of the hardest games as well as blowing easier chances.
We need our best support possible against the Catalans and if we can roar them on maybe again we can create what may start as an artificial enthusiasm but turn into something more as the players respond. If we give them everything just maybe they will give us everything.
In the three home losses, nothing led to nothing, that is for sure.
