| Is magic one of the loop fixtures? Don’t think it is
|
|
|
| The moment the fixtures are announced the club need to start planning "events" around every home fixture. Research the dates, get tie in's, ring matchday sponsors to sell them the concept of the event........I have an awful feeling that the club won't prioritise attendances in the belief that fans will flood back........anything less than 3k average is unthinkable.

| What are the chances of us getting a first home match on a Thursday night against someone like Salford?

It's indicative of the attitude of RL fans, that there needs to some fault found with everything....and I do get the Irony of a London fan complaining about a 54,000 all-seater stadium given the home venue we have.
Liverpool FC average 52k at home this year across all comps.......it's not a poor stadium. If it were, 52,000 folk wouldn't part with their hard earned to enter it.

| When was the last time you went dog?
In comparison to other stadiums I have been to, the seating is cramped and bloody uncomfortable, (hence 54k) I ain’t that tall but the person in front of you certainly gets familiar with yr knees.
certainly not conducive to spending a day there watching 3 games.
Stand I was in! Toilets were 2 levels down from entrance to terracing. Not that you could get out of your seat to get to them. And not enough of em.
Admittedly lots of food outlets round the ground
Views good you can’t deny.
But not somewhere to spend the day if you want to watch 3 games at magic.
Man City stadium knock the socks off it.
It’s not finding fault in everything, it’s my impression of the stadium in comparison to many others I have been to.
So in my view for the event it’s probably been chosen for by the RFL its poor.

Which stand were you in ? I thought the Main Stand was only recently redeveloped.

1977......I stood in the tipping rain and caught pneumonia on the traipse back to the railway station. I would consider that it has somewhat been upgraded since then.

| I was in the kenny dalgiesh stand, the one where the big screen was not visible from. Doubt anyone in the kop could see the screen either.
Maybe over the other stand was better, I dunno

Like the idea of making the home games 'events'.
If we get a home game on March 17th ( assuming we're sticking to Sunday games, Sky permitting) there's one easy event to stage surely?
One down, 10 to go!

I suspect games will have much more varied slots next season due to Sky. I agree the club should plan events but these may need to be around things that can be scheduled with some flexibility as I doubt we will want to have planned an event only to find the game is to be played on a Thursday night.

Flying to spain for a wedding in May.......will build the trip around at least 1 if not 2 home games, so the news that SKY are scheduling as far ahead as July is welcome.....
