| I don't think its over the top, and its not just about Saturday. The players are indifferent, and paying supporters have a right to express their feelings. At least the OP seems to care. I sent the players an email via the club. It was slightly blunter. It won't make any difference but I felt better for it!

I think we've played much worse than we did on saturday. Not that that's a ringing endorsement but....

I remember a game against Catalan last year or the year before (Karl Pryce was playing for us) and we were a lot worse - the defensive line kept running backwards as everyone was too tired to tackle.
We were worse in the Widnes game at the start of this season, and I remember a game against Wakefield last year where we were physically very weak.
We were outclassed on Saturday, but I still think we've improved since the start of the season.

| I understand the frustration but I too think the op's comments are way over the top (maybe i've seen so many shallackings that I've become a bit immune to it).
It puzzles me to hear any of our fans saying that they're not fans of Growler. Yes, he looks a miserable, hard barsteward but the guy has given 120 % in every game he has played for us (and rarely misses a game even though the bloke can barely walk after a game (not to mention the late challenges and general roughing up he gets in every game).
If we had a team full of CG's, I'd be very happy.

| Well over the top. The OP was obviously not at Salford last year which for me was the depths. Wigan are a class act and Slippery Sam is something else. Yes it frustrates me that we can't do the basics well and it was chalk and cheese from the week before.

| Agree Paddock, I've barely been able to sleep since the Salford debacle last year
How lucky that the hotel bar was open until the wee hours

| I agree Mr Gower has given a big effort. He doesn't get any protection from the ref...more worryingly he doesn't get any protection from his team mates. London don't have an enforcer....look at what happens to anyone having a pop at the more vulnerable Leeds or Warrington players....anyone in his position would look p@ssed off all the time

| So how bad does it have to get for some of you?
Saturday was appalling ! I didn't expect us to win, I didn't expect us to even go close with first choice players missing but I expected the players to show some pride and try! Even St Craig seemed to stop giving a monkeys after about 20 mins, lead by example eh skip?
For sure Wigan, and Tomkins in particular were on fire - he seems to have gained another yard of pace if it were possible ! But our players had no fire, no passion and no spine - it could have been much worse if Wigan hadnt eased off after 50 points. But hey ho, criticism seems to be off limits unless you went to Salford - and no I didn't but a mate did so I got all the grisly details!

| Rob, you were at the game I presume. I saw Gower trying to get the team going after all the first four scores (had binos with me) . He got no response. I could feel his frustration. In the face of no response should he have carried on, or should someone on the team have made an effort?

| Well I can understand his frustration but would some of our previous skippers have given up with an hour to go?
Just a thought, and I think he's been outstanding on other occasions, if he can't get a response out of them maybe someone else should captain the team?

| ''I am not a fan of Craig Gower but he is the exception to the rule as he tries to get the game going but with a team of lazy misfits he has a hard job and that is probably why he looks angry all the time''
Please show me where I said Craig Gower doesn't try. I said I wasn't a fan of his I never said he was useless, uncommitted or anything along those lines I acknowledged that he at least put in effort. I think he is a great player I am just not a fan of his persona and I shouldn't think that would bother him for one second. I would think he is more worried about what he has around him on the pitch
As for being over the top - each to their own - I happen to think Saturday was a disgraceful performance, I wasn't on my own as the people standing discussing it in front of me on the stairway (long term fans of 20+ years each) all said they were a shambles with no pride, passion or commitment and all of them were in a discussion of how the team should not be paid a salary for that performance. I know shouldn't listen to other peoples conversation but I it was hard not to with how angry they were.
This is a forum so each and every one is allowed their opinion and that is fine with me we may disagree on performances and situations in the club but at least we all care otherwise we wouldn't be so vocal and emotional

| Many of us on this forum have paid the blame on poor form/results etc on several things in the past.
Lets blame the coach was one theme, TR had apparently run his course so he went
Brian Mac was a rubbish coach! err he seems to be doing ok now
Rob Powell, first few games of his tenure he was a god and got coach of the month start of his first season!

| Not that we will ever know, but I wonder if the make up of a Broncos employee's contract provides a reasonably comfortable standard of living without being overly dependent upon results?
In the Standard last month, the manager of the Brentford football team revealed that his squad had one of the lowest basic payrolls in Division One, but that the basic was enhanced by appearance and points money, with additional payments according to current position in the table and home attendances above a certain figure.
Presumably we have nothing of the kind in place - otherwise who would sign for us?

| Having stopped bothering with the club around three years ago, I have only Boots N All and BBC's Super League Show to see any sort of "highlights" of the Broncos and I can honestly say that the Broncos defending I witnessed whilst watching the Super League Show this afternoon was the worst I have ever seen.
Sam Tomkins is undoubtedly the biggest talent this country and competition have to offer, however, the ease in which he wandered around the Broncos players was quite frankly disgusting. The commentary proclaimed everything he did to be magnificent and of that ilk but in fact the tries he scored weren't all that purely because he had none or little competition from the so called Broncos defence.
