If that's the case he should pad the area a little more. Strap it up. Psychologically it's been proven that players wearing padding are more confident in the tackle.

JOC played fullback last night and did a good job, admittedly against poor opposition. Put him at FB, give Howell a rest/ play him in the U20s until happier. Calderwood, Clubb Pryce and Melling in the 3/4 rts. Once Sargi's exams are finish bring him on. Get Randall and Ellis to share the hooker spot until we can get an accomplished number 7.

You don't believe Opta then? As noted above they show that he is heads and shoulders the most reliable tackler of all our backs.
