I agree with you, i to was expecting a closer game, and there for wouldnt mind if we had lost. These are the teams we need to compete with if we want top 6/8.
But to be fair to Hudd's and their Coach they had done their homework on us and shut down Orr and Randall and stopped our forwards, but all the dropped ball didnt help so we ended up playing on the back foot al the time.
Roll on next week, just hope we can play better next week or god help us against Hull, and being on TV you can hear Stevo now if we were to play the same way.

| god, that was awful. terrible in all areas, except kick offs where we were very good, turning over the ball several times. far too many fumbles with ball in hand - attack too flat.
got to say i thought Thaler's dodgy calls had a hand in all of their first half tries except the first one - although difficult to be 100% sure from near the other end of the pitch.
can't think of anyone that had a good game. a few early run from temata.
hudds were professional but didn't set the place alight. good luck to them - they were much the better team on the day.

| Teams that play great one week and like a bunch of amateurs the next dont get to Grand Finals. Cutting out basic errors was something I thought BM was working hard on and the Wire game seemed to demonstrate the message was getting home. Alas we are reverting back to the bad habits of last season.
OK so Hudds targetted the half back (Orr ) that is always what teams do especially when he is kicking. As a professional he should not have been caught out by it when he had the charge down which cost us a try. Very poor imo.
If your gonna gift the nall to the opposition like this all the time its impossible to win even if your Leeds and Saints never mind a middle table team like us. The fact that its all our own doing always makes it difficult to accept. We can be outplayed by better or even luckier teams and accept it but when you lose because you cant do the basics is very disheartening.

Take the rose tinted specs off. Thaler was lenient to both sides today. Forward passes galore from both teams including one by Quins at least 5 yards forward, laying on by both teams not penalised at all. But the game flowed.
ATEOTD you were beaten by a fully committed Giants side today. We were strong in defence and attack. Our forwards laid a platform for the backs to play off.

Just heard on the radio, they are depressed and have just cut into a cake, but to add to the misery they have come to a standstill on the M1. Did not say what the hold up was.

Please support Rob Purdham's testimonial season: |

No for some reason the Galpharm has become a real bogey ground for us.
Despite being similarly matched to the Giants in a number of ways over the last few seasons, we have managed to lose our last six fixtures at the Galpharm, including defeats by 64-14, 46-16 and now todays 46-6!
