He's a "Broker".......buys oil when it's cheap sells it on for a profit It's a pretty niche market and pretty lucrative. Over his career he will have built up a network of connections, so his "still working" at 75yrs of age won't be too taxing. He funds the cub through his current income, not his nest egg.
He is on record in a book called a Pastel Revolution saying he knows little about marketing or running a business,,,,,,I think the real issue is he knows little about how to recruit people who are qualified to do these jobs for him.
He currently has a CEO who was the club accountant and a kit aggregator running the fiscal side of things.....

He’s certainly invested a lot of effort in the pre match diversity stance which bodes well for his organisational skills but I’d stick with TT he was well thought of at Coventry and he has been thrust into a difficult situation underprepared.

Sorry Victor I thought you were just throwing a quirky name out there. I should have known better.

| The manner of our loss to Toulouse did it for Tom Tsang. He was out of the running from the final hooter of that game.

Doddery Dave at it again I expect.....although how anyone was supposed to coach our paper thin squad to be competitive against the #1 side in the comp is perplexing.
I wonder if Joey Grima was considered?

I think you may well be right and I quite like the zero tolerance to hammering s approach the trouble is with this squad we’ve got through. 2 coaches already with that approach. If it carries on I give Coleman two games next season then, if true to from, the West Wales manager will take over.

You’ll know better than me but I don’t believe he has managed an unsuccessful L1 team and therefore was out of scope. No relevant experience apparently.

| Out of interest, does anyone know if the monkey is going part-time next season, or is that honour saved for the players? I'm assuming he'll keep working this grift until Hughes finally closes the club down.

I am pretty sure he already is part time. He has fingers in other pies, the rest of the week.

The fact that he runs his own business, through which he passes club contracts, doesn't mean he's part time with the Broncos. I mean, he might well be, but it doesn't automatically follow.

Lol.....the only thing between total obliteration and the club is the Accountant/ CEO basically cashing Hughes cheques and paying the bills.
Below him, the commercial team (sic) sold some player sponsorships in a flurry of activity at the start of the year, with 75% of these being to previous sponsors and a couple of local "Ealing Corporates".....thereafter the hospitality has seen minimal uptake to th extent of the Sheffield Game being promoted as almost sold out only to actually be a poor 350 attendance including the ladies final.
In terms of shirt sales. I doubt more than 50 will have been sold this year, so as for monkeys other business interests, I hope his pub team shirt business is clipping the ticket, because he should be on a Months salary for this year's achievements and not a penny more.

Interesting chat with Rimmer and Johnson on the bbc rl podcast/
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p09vz50x
At about 30 minutes in , Dave woods states the point that London have gone part time after Johnson states that the game has spread from the North with expansion in Newcastle . Coventry and London..Rimmer then butts in as Johnson seems a little lost for words and mentions Newcastle and Coventry ciompletely forgetting London .
By the sound of it the RFL dont want to help London out whatsoever and Johnson being from the south is clueless about the game in London.
