| Good to get a win, and before people get too pessimistic about next week remember two seaons back and 38-26.

| So would we hold next year's World Club Challenge match at the Stoop or move it across the road to Twickenham

| Much improved performance, and nice to get off the mark at home. But let's not lose sight of the fact Castleford were poor.
Stand outs for me were Howell, Sarginson and Bailey. Witt and Gower as a halfback combination still isn't quite clicking for me. Lacking a bit of fluency especially when we get within the opposition 20. But then this has been a recurring problem for the past three or four seasons.
Oh and there were never 2,300 there!

Nothing wrong with swinging both ways. Saints on a Friday and then Broncos on a Saturday. Live and let live, I say.

Dave, Dave, Dave. Don't let me get under your skin so. In a few years, when you're older, and you've got the self-confidence to disagree with people without feeling you have to attack them, it'll help with your blood pressure.

I'm a referee these days. I've been called worse by people who know better.

So you agree with me, he played like someone who just dislocated his jaw. I'm not being critical of him, I wouldn't have the guts to do it even not having had a dislocated jaw. Hope he's got over it, but I can just see O'Loughlin and Hock targetting him next weekend.

| I disagree with Chase being MOM for Cas I think Bentham deserves that honour but it was good to see the team keep their cool and keep their heads up when he threw one penalty after another at them. I could not believe some of the decisions but at last the team showed a level of maturity and got on wiht the game rather thna heads down sulking. A team which wins handsomely on the scoresheet and fans still boo the ref off the pitch says something about the refereeing standards. The only retaliation I can remember seeing was after the third high tackle on Sargi and nothing done about it even after having a word with the touch judge and the ref. Credit to Sargi he shook there hands and gave what looked like an apology at the end of the game. Serious question does anyone other tha Powell know why did we had three props sitting on the bikes and bench together to around 15-20 mins in the second half, that is a long time to play with one prop.

| We played well yesterday. Really pleased how we turned it around from the Salford game.
Sargy seemed to tighten the defence up on his side. I was a little worried how easily at times we did get opened up. Cas were poor. Everything goes through Chase (who is a pleasure to watch).
Thought Witt went well as did a number of players. The point you make Rosey about the props had me somewhat bemused during the game. Kaufusi, Bryant and Temata all stood by the bike for a good 20 minutes, Powell clearly didn't see a threat from the Cas forwards.
Chad was spelled for a long period for the second week running. It seems Powell prefers what Rinaldi has too offer the team

| Great to see the win gained at last, although 42-16 was rather harsh on Cas. Yes, they were poor, but I think we were a long way from being great ourselves. I certainly don't think we have "gelled" yet as a team, as someone claimed a couple of pages back. Howell had a great game (at last) as did Gower. Certainly disagree with Tim's comments about Clubby. The announcement of a 2,300 attendance was one of the funniest things all afternoon.

| Credit to Luke Dorn as well for that tackle he made when faced with two men when we were losing before half time.Had they scored then, I think the result would have been totally different.
