I thought we'd have 4 points from the first 6 rounds going into the next home game with Hull. (Probably from beating Catalans & Crusaders, but possibly losing one of those and springing an odd upset.) We've got twice as many points with a game to spare. Well done lads.

I thought we'd win the first two and win at Headingley. I couldn't see us beating Huddersfield, but I was more confident of beating St Helens after theirs and our start to the season.

Nothing wrong with Andy Ellis, just spoke to him and he says hes fine.

He would be lying if that was the case. I can't remember any of your players dropping the ball once. You were well disciplined, well organised, you tackled superbly, you played with enthusiasm and commitment, and your kicking was excellent. Although coaches are always looking to improve their teams, I can't see how yours would have found much to criticise.

My main criticism of them was their lack of killer instinct. There were three or four times when they could and should have scored against Saints, but took the safe option instead.

They are however IMO a far better team offensively and defensively than that of Mcdermott.

One word - easy! (and i was there). Thank you Mr W Hill 5 -1 silly boy !
