As for the professional whiners comment, I would love not be able to complain but there is a constant stream of ammunition. There is no point going over why I, and others, think this is a farce, it has been done to death and won't change anything. I'm pleased some people are happy at least.

Under the sticks. It is your type of attitude that winds me up the most. David Hughes can do whatever he likes, and who are we to dispute it? I'm sorry but I can't have that. The club should belong to the supporters. I would rather the club fold without him than go on like it is doing. I have no problems with him for what its worth, I just disagree with his decisions and will not simply bow down to him because he is the one chucking the cash in.

Michael Witt made the Crusaders tick and scored near enough 175 points in 40 games for them in two years. Antonio Kaufasi has been part of two Grand Final appearing Melbourne sides, Rinaldi is returning to London, Colbon and Cook are still a good age and well, Hickey will keep Greggs' across London running.
Compare those signings with the likes of Ryan Esders, Ben Kaye, Matt Gardner, Mick Nanyn, David Tootill and Joe Walsh's of the past few years and the on the pitch side of things looks more positive than ever.'"

Underwhelming kit and as for the rest of the launch itself, were we really expecting blanket coverage? With our budget and low profile it was never exactly going to be a major media event.
I look forward to, five years down the line, all the posters who loathed Harlequins RL coming on here and saying 'Its not working, lets change the name, that'll shake things up'

We're in the Standard tonight, we're on BBC London, we're in the national papers, we were (for a short time) pretty visible on twitter - and we're launching as London in time for the double header on Saturday.
For a small budget we've not done badly at all.
The kit is the least of our worries. I'd rather win something wearing a balls kit than be a balls team wearing the best kit in Super League. |
