MMmmm, we shouldn't be hoping too much on others failings. If Northern get deducted the full 6 points, well last season, minus 6 pts and they'd still have finished 12th, above Salford and us, with Salford's reinforcing of the squad their only problem is if the RFL Salary Cap team want to see the good Doctor's books, lmao.

As to Wakey's lowered capacity, it'll only be at the start of the season, and will expand as each phase of the work is completed and it appears to be something they have budgeted for anyway. It'll only be a problem if the builders find something wrong.

I think Braford have a much stronger squad than us especially with Sammut playing for them. 6 points will not be enough. Its between us Cas and Wakey for me. Have to hope we can get it together for those critical games in the bottom group. In the very unlikely event of Bradford going under midseason and us getting Sammut we may pull it off, but if we were sitting bottom of SL we would not be his first choice.

whilst my initial post was negative and the result was depressingly familiar - all ain't lost. we we will not play Leeds every week, we have to concentrate on beating the teams around us Bradford, cas, wakes, Widnes etc. also we have players to come, so we will get better. this is a very young team, we need some experience and hopefully a positive start to the season - early thrashings will do team and the fans no good! a good stand off, and a couple of tough forwards - we might do enough!

Gosh some on here show optimism in their posts. Doesn't mean they don't realise the reality. But carry on anyway.

Personal view, we'll struggle to win a game or keep opposition to less than 30. Optimistically I hope they win at least 8 games this season. So should I just post the former or the latter?
