| There could be three price levels, one behind the goal, one for the East and one for the West. That way every-bodies pockets could be satisfied.

| Quote rosetintedspecs="rosetintedspecs"Gus on friday - We will not know until maybe November who the new coach will be , we have had a lot of international interest'"
This sums up 100% the role that Gus has at the club.......FFS, Even Stevo, not 1 minute after Gus had said this, mentioned the new coach would be announced within the week......It would seem that DH had told everyone except Gus
IMO.....David Hughes took over the running of the club the moment the "review" was announced......he sacked staff who he thought were doing nothing other than cost him money, decided Twickenham wasn't working and started putting feelers out for somewhere new....the move, no matter where it is and what the club are called will be yet another pointless act by the club/Mr Hughes unless it is backed up with 1 million pounds worth of marketing over 5 years.
Can anyone name another SL club or Championship club that won't be marketing its Season Tickets either on or before their last home game of the regular season?
It's just not cricket I tell you, just not cricket

| The cheap Season Tickets were a good idea. It was an incentive to get a number of people in the ground, be it RU fans, football fans or just floating fans who turn up three times a year. However, it never seemed to work.
I don't think that any club will have the fans this club has. There are fans from London, Surrey, Hampshire, Essex, Kent and probably other counties that turn up for home games, I doubt that Wigan, Wakefield or any other team will have fans turn up for regular round games who have travelled from 5+ counties.
Wherever the club plays, its not going to suit everyone. Twickenham is just too far (and to expensive travelling to/from) for me but its a five minute journey for others on here.

| I too would pay more to stay at the Stoop, and would pay a reasonable premium for an allocated seat.

Booo- means sh*t spots for those of us who prefer to just turn up on (80% of) matchdays, which is a bit of a take when there are inevitably empty seats in prime locations due to ST holders not turning up, and then everyone just ends up moving anyway, or at least I do. In honesty I don't think we have the attendances at present for allocated seats to be requirement.

| I've loved the unallocated seats, means I've brought people with me to all bar two matches and could sit with them in the places they'd enjoy it from most.

But how many "extra" people bought them? How many even knew about them? I recall from my "O" Level Economics lessons something about "price elasticity". You can increase the price of something to a certain level before people decide it's too high and stop buying it; but equally you can cut the price so low that you don't sell any more units. We need to pitch our price at the top end of that scale, but we haven't. I think we've cut our price too low with season tickets at £99; we're just "giving them away" to people who would happily pay more, and we're not increasing our number of units sold.
We're basically letting people in for (next to) nothing while one bloke (who cannot sustain his expenditure for more than a couple more years) covers all the overheads. It's nonsense, and it can't last; we need a strategy to take us beyond those next couple of years. This has been the case for as long as I've been regularly attending (10 years+ now) and there's no sign of any meaningfull progress.
