| I see on twitter they put the coach up to explain the defeat in pretty quick time so some credit yo him. It really needs to be Lobster or Hughes to explain the shambles that is their making.

| Still Nilled twice in a row, and every chance of another nill next week. Thing is Haven are also poor, and was for the taking, and we never came close.
has a team ever been nilled 3 games in a row (WWR for instance?)

Yes I see they tried, but didn't quite get it right.
Seemed to miss the first interchange at around 20 minutes; Tuliatu for Blakemore. And Vranhos came out for Bienek at just over 30 minutes, not the other way around.
However I do like the fact they did provide that info and I'd rather they carry on even if not spot on.
I only know this because two of the things I looked out for today, were when and whom were being changed and where the players line up defensively.

| @smithers99 what was the off field entertainment like? Did they have Buck and Dusty out for the kids, any sort of kids activities? People pointed to the engagement area etc
Or was it like Widnes, just turn up, sit down and get bored for 80 mins?

| Judging by the weather where I am, keeping dry was the entertainment for the day.

| What stuns me is how can anybody be shocked/suprised at this seasons s@%t show !....Inexperienced coach who has a pi$$ poor sub standard squad ....Talk about being blind to the obvious...I have in previous seasons turned up to probably 95% of all home games ,even planning my holidays around them....but those days are now long gone...

They handed out a team sheet (both teams) although Latu played but wasn't on the list.
Newcastle / Aston Villa was on all the TV screens
The announcer read out the teams so quickly I couldn't catch all the names. Just about got the Broncos as he read them in player position order. The four subs he was too quick for me!
The Fans Zone gate was locked as I suspected.
Food and drink was available.
I think that was it. I think the toilets were open(!) but I bumped into some acquaintances on the way to use them and didn't in the end.
No mascots or anything for kids I could see. Shame really. I took a mate and his five year old yesterday to the football and he liked the kids drawing area and shooting at goals (didn't try either but watched), seeing Haydon the mascot before the game, spotting him in the programme, and watching him banging a wheelie bin in front of the crowd to start a chant (a bit cheesy but attracts the kids who run down to get a photo with him). His priority was to buy something from the shop, which he did after the game. Certainly need to target a little extra for the kids at the Broncos games.

| Yea was afraid about this. They are doing nothing to try and retain people who attend, all I can see is attendances dropping down the further into the season we go

| Yes absolutely nothing for kids. The thing is there are a few kids coming to the games now and we offer nothing.
No shop either, no programme. No mention that I heard of the cup game in a couple of weeks. Total madness.

I think Orange called our first win as Dewsbury at home in May. I thought that overly pessimistic. I was wrong. Is suspect he might be wrong as well sadly.

On the plus side mark 2 the game announcer was audible. Now if someone can tell him to read through the team more than once we might be onto a winner.
On the plus side mark 3 we have a team sheet now if we can just do what everybody else does and have the 17 man team rather than 20 random names I. A document marked “21 man squads” we would be onto a winner.
On the plus side mark 4 we do appear to have personal sponsors for many players now if we can just put on the wesbite like any team and add in any corporate sponsors....
On the plus side mark 5 - Latu made his debut and was better than last year - a spectacularly low bar but he did Ok.Now if we can just remember to include him in the team sheet next time he plays.
On the plus side 6 the 3 additional Skolars players aren’t on the website. Unfortunately they played as well as L1 can be expected to.

| Always trying to look for a positive in a game, am struggling with this one. Despite lots of folk not rating him I thought horsman looked enthusiastic today, more than the rest. Juma didn't get made to look so daft on his wing, think that's about it.
Haven were better team all game, our last play options were dire.
Not pleasant to watch

Yet this is the squad DH and his cronies have assembled to relaunch the club and attract new fans. Most of us saw this coming why didn't they ?

Or was he over optimistic!
I mean Dewsbury beat Sheffield today who beat Bradford. Unless the expectation is to beat Bradford in the Challenge Cup.
I'll ignore Dewsbury's big defeat Bradford in that logic.
