London coach Tony Rea was pleased with his team's first half performance, as they trailed by just four points at the break.

However, they failed to add anymore in the second period and Rea said: "You don't get points for playing well in the first half.

"We had to get out and do the same in the second half and we didn't do that.

"We have had a bad few days and the players have been a bit down but not on each other.

"They will be okay, we will all keep pulling in the right direction and we will have our moments."

Am I alone in thinking that TR's comment about the players was a bit odd? Could there be something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about? Mind you, to have something going on might make a change!

I think most of us were expecting a bit more than that, especially with relatively kind fixture list we had at the start of the season.

Sounded like Bailey and Channing had good games so that's a positive. Tommy Lee's stats would indicate that he had a strong game too and Wheeldon made lots of yards as usual.

Watching the tries on SLTV, we look as thouugh we were badly exposed out wide, Lovell being consistently out of position. Note to TR, please dont pick Lovell in the centres.

Lovell doesn't deserve a London shirt with his defensive failings.

I would have him go knock on the door of Oscar Pistorius. That's how I feel about his disgraceful defence.
