| Quote: Hull Kingston Bronco "C'mon PP, if there's one club and bunch of fans that have no right to criticise Rovers for working the rules and playing the margins on eligibility it's Quins - talk about people in glass houses. Progress in recent years doesn't delete over a decade's messing about and special exemptions, covering up massive neglect of junior development. I remember the years at Griffin Park when it was Kolpak-a-go-go, I've never seen so many Aussies and Kiwis on dodgy passports.
(Guess I don't need to declare an interest here mind, it's somewhat obvious...)'"
A massive neglect in Junior development?
For the past 7 years our former youngsters have been playing in SL and the Championship for other clubs whilst Quins have blooded player after player season on season in SL.
Have you ever bothered to look at the Amateur scene in London and how Quins have worked with the clubs to develop players who are now playing at the top level, one of them even getting International Honours.
How many of HKA's youth products are now playing SL elsewhere and how many are playing for England?

Well done.
So Rovers fans are slagging Quins off who have several players playing all over SL yet the HKA fans can name one that they have produced.
You must be so proud.

Kirk Netherton has not got a club.
So basically Rovers have less than 10 products playing around the UK, many of them in the Championships yet the poster thought he was in a position to laugh at Quins excellent youth set up?
Classic Dwarf man style behaviour, it is rubbing off on the fans now as well

And that is why I took exception.
How long is 'the last few years'?
Players playing all over the UK now came through Quins Youth ranks more than 5 years ago.
They were producing top players when Rovers had gates of 1200 and would of been grateful for any of their cast off's.
It is disrespectful to condemn a club's Youth structure when the guy has no idea of what is in place in London.

Don't let simple facts get in the way of these Rovers supporters, it's not their style.

Perhaps you should have left him to dig his own hole mate

| suppose i was defending our youth set up not that poster because its not that bad. we have quite a few home grown players playing first team at the moment. it was always going to be tuff for us to get good youth players when we where in the championship especialy with hull on our door step who could offer them players better deals and futures. but now we are starting to get a fair few coming through and we should have many more playing across super league over the next few years if we dont keep them

Then change the rules, not criticise a club for acting entirely within them, lets face it your club has been given a free ride by the RFL for years, just because your London based.
