I can't believe the clubs apparent lack of activity since the Wakey game. Last year the RFL were responsible for the gate, the seating and the profit made.....all of which made for the biggest gate of the year, both sides open, a cracking atmosphere and a ROI in just 1 game.....

Im with Listy on this one. Its a disgrace, Im hoping to bring 2 or 3 people to the game who cant confirm until today, so I couldnt get tickets in advance. As a result i will probably now be stuck on the edges, as according to the website all the good seats are gone. Why didnt the club use this as a marketing tool?? The main stand is nearly sold out so we are opening the south stand? Unallocated seats in the new stand behind the posts would be brilliant and id be more than happy to sit there. But I dont want to sit on the front row or the edges of the 1 stand thats open for a showpiece game. Its pathetic. Still no replica shirts for sale?? pathetic. The clubs marketing is pathetic and embarrassing. I will always support the club and get to all home games. But we dont deserve a SL place. We are not a professional operation.

If people want fans to stop moaning on here then the club needs to start behaving in a way that a SL club that respects the sport should.

after reading all the posts i wish i hadnt started this thread,i got our tickets in the etihad,not bad view and 30 quid for 4 tickets....bloody good value i think,and if the sun gets in my eyes ill pull my cap down a bit further.im not a marketing man so will leave it to those getting paid for it.i shall just enjoy seeing our lads playing the nrl champions and remember all those years ago at crystal palace playing 2nd division games.....now you would have had something to moan about back then re marketing etc.

Done my rounds, managed to get a crew of 8 together... gone to buy tickets online... only 6 single seats in different stands/areas available.

Now, do any of you find this acceptable? Please defend this?

I cant buy tickets to a game that has sold a small amount of tickets.

No wonder ticket sales are down.

I dont even know if I will bother tomorrow. Please dont tell me to call the club, if I wasnt a regular at the stoop how would i know that this club is inept and I would need to call the box office, or roll up at the gate. To a newbie this would give the impression of a sell out, when in fact we will be lucky to have a ground 1/3 full tomorrow.

You should have bought your tickets months in advance of course, not the club's fault

Lets hope the club have learned some valuable lessons from this. Imo the ethiad should have been season ticket holders priority for maybe 1 week to buy their seat tickets and as many as the £5 tickets as They wanted. after that Blocks AA,AB AC AG AH AJ Unallocated with Either the Lexus or North/South stand open from the start. I know their will be a lot of walk ons on the day and probably majority Antip's who the club should be targeting to return to watch the Quins on a regular basis. Lets hope the game is a good un and the bar is organised.

Nothing wrong with the ground and the style of play is pretty boring now you mention it......But yes...it is Marketing! (or lack of it and CRM)

OK so its no ideal but going from 8 attending to not going 'cause you cant sit like primary school kids in a row seems unusual.

wire-quin i dont know how you can make that comment! its f'n pathetic on the clubs behalf. you should be able to sit with your mates at a game that has a crowd that isnt even a third of the grounds capacity. this is a game that is supposed to showcase the club to 'new fans'.

i used to wonder why the game in london hadnt grown, here's why. i won't even use the word amature, because amature clubs are doing a better job at promoting the game in this city.
