I am feeling more distant from the club I have supported through thick and thin for 20 years, and to be honest I am getting to the point where I cant be d anymore. Granted COVID has something to do with this, but in reality the last few months have opened me up to so many ways to spend my Sundays that dont involve a club who has no respect for their supporters.

PC Plum. I agree entirely with you and I feel the same. Certainly COVID has thrown a spanner in the works

Rugby was what my family and I did on a Sunday, all three generations of us. However, I too am at that same point where I now do other things, things that I enjoy doing . Driving a four hundred plus mile round trip to the North of England every other Sunday, to follow my club who no longer seem to RESPECT its fans. No longer seems has an appeal.

I did it in the past because I enjoyed it for sure. It was also about meeting up with the others who regularly travelled away, such as you PC Plum. Will I do it in the future, whatever that future is? I do not know. We shall have to see

And folk wonder why rugby league struggles to establish a foothold in this part of the world.

Same here but my struggle is for home games, found other things to do. The thought of driving 3 hours to a club who last contacted me to ask what I wanted to do with my season tickets in July and has made no contact since doesn't encourage me.

What do expect of a sports club? The product they sell is rugby league, there is no rugby league to sell at the moment. Up until a few hours ago, there was no news. Now there is news it will not be good enough for some as it was not delivered in person to your front door by DH in person.

The club does not show any respect for some on here! What the heck does that mean? I support the club because i love the game, if when they can, they put the best team out within the finances they have, then they have achieved the aim!
