Given our performances I am not sure bringing in new players is a sensible/good option? We have Kam-Paul Beinek who are not making the squad, and Kear and others coming back from injury/surgery, so why disrupt a squad that is winning?

Agree. We should only get players if / when we need them. Atm we don't need to improve the squad, so keep the funds until such time as we do.

Bit of a change of tune! Beginning of the season folk were saying we were a bit thin on number, nothing has changed we are still a bit thin so if anyone with ability was available and fancied some time away from the north east then we should grab them. Rather have a couple of spare bodies, competition for first team place is good. Waiting until you need them tends to be to late.

I agree, if they are available and we can get them now do it. Waiting until we may need them could backfire as there may not be anyone available then. Said before the season started HB and Hooker are a worry and nothing has really changed my mind. While we have made a great start there is along way to go and I just hope injuries dont scupper us

They beat Rochdale by a point last night. They really aren't impressing this season.

Must be hard for them playing all these away games in a row, being on the road constantly takes its toll on the players, away from home and family.

The whole Toronto thing is becoming a farce. The RFL continue to allow them to bend the rules to suit themselves.
Has anybody heard when their home pitch will be ready to be played on. Having all their home games together at the end of the season, gives them an unfair advantage, so that the RFL can get them promoted to Super League.
I hope the dream does not become a nightmare in the same way it has for Red Halls other favored club Leigh.

On the flip side playing all games away at the beginning of the year can't be easy

Seems to me they have it very cushy. Half a season playing ‘away’ with very little travelling involved and then half a season at home where their opponents have an eight hour flight before each game. Someone is pulling the strings!

Whilst i am all for expansion, and supporting developments, this arrangement does give them a huge advantage. None of their players are Canadian so 2/3 months here and then the remainder back in Toronto gives them a perfect arrangement
