CoC what you heard fella?

I'm not a London fan but Schofield's personal attack on Radio Yorkshire on Michael Channing (after Channing had via Twitter challenged him to a £1,000 bet on London finishing better than 10th) was completely out of order and reflected very poorly on him.

He said Channing should concentrate on getting himself fit and playing rugby league...said "he came from London to Cas and failed, from Cas to Fev and failed, went back down to London, I'm not hearing much about you son." When the presenter pointed out that Channing was a Welsh international Schofield retorted "I'll tell you why he got picked for Wales, because they were short of players."

To be fair we all know Schofield's modus operandi in his media work is to try and cause a bit of controversy but the personal stuff was a bit unnecessary, especially after Channing's injury history. Channing will never be half the player Schofield was but that's no reason to disparage him like that.

He spouts rubbish which gets lapped up by the audience he targets........but a journalist he never is or will be.

Schofield has said that he would come down to London if invited to an event.How about he comes down at the end of the season to hand over the £1000 to Channing on the pitch after the game.

How about ANTAGONISTIC A-HOLE?

He is the type of Yorkshire man that gives Yorkshire men, a bad name.

Not looked at our betting odds but looks like as far as the bookies are concerned best we will do this year is 6th.

William Hill have us 4th (25-1) behind Leigh, TWP and Fev.

Didn’t look at specific bookies! At least one sees us getting in the top 4.
I think the general feeling was Leigh, Toulouse, Toronto, Fev for top 4, then fax.

I think it all comes down to our injuries. Stay lucky and 3rd, unlucky (Api, Sammutt and Cunningham) and we could well end up 6th. No cover there. I can only guess that we will chance our luck and then if the worst does happen we try and get someone in on a short term deal (like Boubedza last year)

Spot on. We need Sammut to stay fit, and cunni, api, we didn’t miss massively last season when he was out, but then we had others that filled his role. Am hoping walker has bulked up a little bit, I think he may be important this year.

I just find it strange that we have not brought in cover for the positions where we are painfully short (HK/HB)

There has been a bit of back tracking over the last week. Danny Ward even got involved. It seems that we are all friends now.
