| Lots of criticism of RP, and rightly so, but is our skipper doing his bit on the park to rally the troops, encourage, give a b0ll0cking when needed? Wasn't at yesterday's shambles but I can't say as I've seen him really giving out to anyone at any game I've been to - and there would have been plenty of opportunities to do so!

| Anyone notice that when Gower picked up a knock and we shipped a try, the only person talking behind the sticks was the water carrier? Nobody else seems to care.

| Steve McGee, plays a blinder every week and is getting to spend more and more time on the pitch.

He certainly looks like he's trying, but maybe listens to Stevo too much - always tackles round the legs which allows the offload if no-one else is involved.

Isn't it also the Hookers job to make runs from DH too. but you never see that in our team.
Maybe Randall should have looked at Robertson was doing for Hudds and tried to remember when he use to do and when was the last time he did that too.
as for who played well. all i say on that, is the guys doing the commentary wondered how long would any of our talented younger players would put up with playing in a team like is and basically jump ship if a big club come calling

Randall is no longer up to SL standard and should have gone at the end of his last contract. Rinaldi should never have got 2 years also. Howell and Dorn are not the players they were. KT has been a great servant to the club but again his body is not up to it. You are either competing in this sport and you have to be ruthless, or you are letting sentimentality rule your decisions and will end up with a team which is uncompetitive.
I suspect the club will have difficulties getting an Aussie mid term not just because of visa issues but the guy will want to come in knowing he can sign a couple of quality players to shore up our defensive problems. If he comes now then he has the problem of trying to make the current squad win when confidence is shot and it is like starting from scratch. His reputation will be on the line for the rest of the season. DH has already indicated the next coach will be an Aussie apparently and i doubt any english coach would touch us now anyway.

| It was said at the start of the season that it would only be fair to judge Rob Powell when he had `his team`......well this is `his team`and even if he goes at the end of the season he will have left us this legacy of aging/worn out/not good enough players and their long contracts (I appreciate that the contracts element will not have been his decision alone, but he will have played an active part)..........all in all this club is well and truly screwed.

Correct and if he hadn't got the two year deal, Ellis would have stayed.

Seriously? I thought he did well against Bradford but he was very poor yesterday. I actually thought Jamie O'C did okay as did Howell & Gower.
