Anyone know why our game at your place is on a Friday. I just won't be able to get there. You have no sympathy from me whatsoever.

I'm looking forward to a home Friday night game this year.

At present your home fixtures are mainly Saturdays, a few Sundays, Easter monday and one Friday night (Bradford). Twickenham doesn't have any events listed for that weekend that would clash. Is there anything else on at the Stoop on the Saturday? Friday night will halve our away support easily. I was looking forward to a summer weekend in London wrapped around a rugby game. Now that holiday days would have to be used to get there it becomes a different matter.

That is purely because the next weekend is Easter. I think both mcNamara & McDermott would prefer to play 3 games in 11 days (Fri - Thursday - Monday) rather than 3 games in 9 days (Sun - Thursday - Monday)

Thankfully I dont need your sympathy, but looking at the crowds you pull your club could do with my money which on this occasion it will not be recieving.

And the rapid way your crowds are descending, we could both be in the same boat pretty soon.

Though not in great shape we are not doing quite as bad as some other clubs. Check our accounts.

If as a club you can in effect throw the revenue of usually around 300 to 400 bradford away fans down the tube you must be a very wealthy club. Good luck to you.

Kind of pathetic having a tit for tat spat over my club/your club does, because at the end of the day it's still supporters who get shafted whenever clubs schedule games for times/days when it makes it very difficult to follow your team away without incurring additonal costs such as using holiday allowance.

Like it or not, northern clubs scheduling games on Friday night to suit their own supporters or corporate clients requirements are never going to have the equation of an even more diminished following from London factored in, whereas the same in reverse will have usually have an impact upon the QRL gates.

I agree with all of that. I didn't post to stir the $hit and just wondered why the decision had been made. If I were able to book a day off to get to the game I would but the nature of my job will not allow it.

I think the marketing team are trying out a Friday evening game to see what the response is. Bulls game probably picked at random.
