Better late than never...

Quote: "London Broncos Rugby League has today launched 2015 Memberships and matchday prices for the Kingstone Press Championship season at The Hive.

The Broncos venture into an exciting new era for rugby league with the return of promotion and relegation between the Kingstone Press Championships and the First Utility Super League. The 12 Championship clubs will play 23 matches in total, home and away plus one fixture at the Summer Bash.

After playing 23 fixtures, the 24 Super League and Championship clubs will split into three groups – the Super 8s – based on league positions. The top eight will continue as Super League, the middle eight will be the Qualifiers and the third eight will be the Championship Shield.

Our 2014 Memberships covers a minimum of 14 home games (11 games from the regular season plus up to four Super 8s fixtures). This is at least one more game than the 2014 season.

The monthly payment will be 8% less than the newMembership prices as an appreciation for the loyalty shown to the club. Together with the 8% loyalty reduction and the additional game included in the 2015 season it represents up to 23% discount per game compared to the 2014 adult membership price. Current members also have the option of making a single lump sum payment for the season and will still benefit from the reduction.

Memberships can be paid upfront or spread the cost over eight months from February to September.

Think there missing a trick by not using the terracing, for a curious family of 4 to attend it's an expensive day out especially if your new to game . Something like a tenner for an adult and kids for a quid or kids for free with a paying adult might get some newbies interested then hopefully they fall in love with it a decide to pay a bit extra for the seats , surely the cost of a couple of stewards for the terracing bit is not that expensive.

Would expect most clubs to be £15-£18 this season so it's not [itoo[/i much of a step up, especially 'London prices' and all that. Very much looking forward to visiting with Leigh, though I would prefer a terrace rather than seating.

They had better have some promotions up their sleeve because I will have a hard time convincing mates or potential new fans to shell out £20 for second tier rugby. Grim.

I think it will be an easier sell this year TBH. Much happier spending £20 on a competitive second tier team than an outclassed first tier team. Now that was grim - and grim for many years.

We're about £5 dearer than everyone apart from Bradford it seems. If we are within a position or two of Bradford on the ladder, that seems justifiable IMO.

Also, I think our season tickets are more in line with other clubs than our matchday prices are - just a shame we haven't been promoting these since October ...

"People use statistics the way a drunk uses a lamp post - for support not illumination":

Quote: Torbreck "Re-reading it looks like that ridiculous 'joining-fee' isn't there anymore (at least I hope not and was the ONE thing that prevented my buying a membership last season) making a ST in the Premium seating around £15 a match for 14/15 matches for your adult £220 or £27.50 pm over 8 months. There is a further 8% discount for existing members too. It seems pretty fair pricing to me.'"

Sorry I'm led to believe the joining fee hasn't gone away

I suspect we are broadly in line with most clubs and to be honest is an £18 ticket going to attract lots more fans? A winning team, no matter what the quality of the opposition

I'm a casual fan who intends coming to about half a dozen home games and a couple of away games, I have no intention of becoming a member of the club, supporters club or any other institution for that matter and I say £20 is on the steep side, it's my money and I make my decisions with my money, but year in year out, it seems the club I follow can only be half-d to get it's crap together and then demands more money outa me for the priveledge than any other club!!

And whilst I am in "rant-mode" where are the 'effin' shirts??!!!!!

Sorry too steep for me. Given the distance, I was hoping to get to about half the games but £60 for three of us is too steep.

Will maybe get to one or two but will get a ticket for the South Wales Scorpions instead and follow my local team.
