| Well I see Tony' is working on the Half-Back's confidence already, lmao! Tonked by over half a ton and it's those twos' fault! C'mon!!!!!!!!Really???
I still believe we WILL come good, but we need some more bruisers up front and some experience in the backs.
We are NOT DOOMED until the fat biatch starts scritchin'!!!

| Does anyone know whether the club has any more spots left for an overseas purchase?
Obviously the London halves need bolstering (I assume that Rea will play Ben Farrar at No. 6), as do the forwards.
After watching most of the Auckland Nines I am sure that there is some great young talent that could be bought cheaply from among the Under 20s or the fringe NRL squad members Down Under. The question is whether there is an import spot still free ....and whether Tony Rea was even watching the tournament (Rugby Union was boasting beforehand that they were scouting the tournament).

Its 4 weeks since Solomona was 'signed' www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/25776281 Are they handwriting these visa's?
By the time Leary, Solomona, and Farrar get here and Slyney gets fit we will be too far behind the teams we will have to catch. Bradford still have enough good players to get some wins as do Wakey who now have Sammut. I hope the club are well advanced with the 4/5 TR says he still hopes to sign and they all have english mothers/fathers. Weren't there a couple of experienced props at Catalans who weren't retained?

| Quote: jaybs "I know it is still early,'"
Widnes will finish between 9th and 12th.......we were spanked by one of the 5 teams we need to take points off to stand a snowballs.......it is slightly more worrying than "being early in the season". Salford will look to stick 50 on us.....when will it stop being "early"?
Quote: jaybs "but I would have been more happy if Tony R had moved upstairs as CEO, '"
I would question the sanity of anyone willing to step up to the plate to face the fiasco that the incumbent has created in just 3 short years.....
Quote: jaybs "just my opinion, '"
Which in my opinion isn't worth the virtual paper it is written on......see, we all have one! You apologise for pretty much everything at the club whilst I get attacked for pointing out the obvious and gaping holes in this plan for a brave new dawn........not your fault by the way, just indicative of the grasp on reality the remaining few seem to have when it comes to the Broncos.
Quote: jaybs "think many got carried away with the few wins he put together at the end of 2012!'"
The only person who should have got carried away is David Hughes. If he's left us to flounder when Lenengan was told to walk, we'd have been propped up by the RFL.......now we are only costing them a small bribe (SORRY, MARKETING BUDGET) to AK to keep us going until we slip off the radar in 2015 and become "someone else's" problem.
I get it by the way, the past is the past......but with the same owner, CEO and Owners mate training us as we've had for close to 2 years now, I'm stunned that anyone on here expected anything to change.

| Quote: wire quin "London coach Tony Rea selected nine new faces, including prop Carl Forster - on loan from St Helens - having lost the bulk of last year's squad.
"I am happy to be on the start line but this is a big learning curve," Rea said.
"We clearly weren't ready, but need to move on from here.
"I will take a fair lump of the blame, but there has been a lot of chopping and changing.
"We will be adding to the squad, but these players can do better.
"Kevin Brown was outstanding for Widnes, and if he hadn't played it would have been a tight game. He was that big an influence.
"Our hookers were pretty strong, but our half-backs were outplayed.
"We have the potential and will be smarter than this in future."'"
With all due respect to him for what he's facing he is talking out of his backside if he thinks Kev Brown was the only real difference between the teams. We were at a canter and whilst he was our MOM there were a good few difference makers like Tickle and Mellor and a general feeling that if you upped your game, we could've upped ours a lot more than we did. It was like a friendly.
Still the man has a real uphill battle right now so maybe he's not looking to be too honest about the reality of the situation which I can understand.

| A heavier defeat than would have liked to see. Probably 3 more in this group of games. However we have the next group to look forward to. Wonder what the teams confidence will be like now.
Next week could be worse than I originally envisaged.add another 20?

Dead right. Rea is expert at talking complete gibberish. How many do you think Wigan, Saints or Leeds would gave scored today?

We ourselves had half a team missing. A full strength Leeds would've hit 100 if they'd gone for it. I take no pleasure in saying that, but it's true. It's a cobbled together outfit, you can't expect anything better right now.

Actually, pretty much what the saner London fans amongst us predicted.
Quote: Southern Reiver "Probably 3 more in this group of games. '" agreed.

Leeds and Wigan away should carry a health warning.....Castleford will beat us easily, so Wakefield are the only hope.

Shot to bits......

Salford will be licking their lips at the thought of easy meat next week.

I'd agree about the health warning on Leeds and Wigan games. However I doubt Wakefield will be much less of a repeat of today. If we're lucky at this point half of it.

| Gutted to see this result, I'd count London as my third team after Saints and Salford and always look out for the results. Hopefully bringing in a little more experience in the likes of Farrar will help steady things up a little but by the looks of it relegation is most certainly on the cards. May not necessarily be such a bad thing for London Broncos but I think it would be for Rugby League in London, I just hope that if it does happen it's with a battle rather than a landslide.
On a side note, for anyone who made the long journey, how did Carl Forster go for you lot?
