Tony is reputed to have had a huge problem with one individual we no longer employ. You may have noticed his teams always went flat out in the second half against us even if the game was dead. This is no co-incidence. It came out of an incident after the shirt burning game at The Stoop. We also rather upset Wire by barely playing a loanee last season.

This is all forgotten now at their end and pre the cancelled EGM two ex Wire players and a loanee were coming here. One of them is now playing in Australia. The other seems to have quit. The loanee appears to be staying at Wire.

This is a real shame as he would have IMO taught the younger props a thing or two and been a good pack leader.

From what I have read we will find out more on Monday about why he changed his mind, but I expect it be the normal thing of family and commitments he already said he make (going on the community remarks he has made).

If honest and I expect I get shot down for this, but it aint TR's fault if this guy changed his mind. I don't think its anything to do with us announcing his capture early, but simply down to speaking to his family and having a change of heart.

Lets just hope we can pull another good one out of the hat and this time he wont change his mind
