| Quote pyeman="pyeman"Our stadiums far from the worst in the league and we are working on getting 15,000 seater stadium in the next few years. We are averaging about double the attendance of one team in the league, despite having one of our poorest seasons on the pitch. We have beaten the best two teams in the competion (one of whom we bet with the only 17 fit players we had), and despite being last are only 2 points off one of the biggest teams in the league who spent more money than us and had more time to prepare for the season. We also lost our playmaker and best player, a player who is in with a good chance of getting man of steel. Whilst doing this we have blooded a number of youngsters, one of whom has been called up into the international squad and come the world cup we have another thats it in with a chance, both castleford lads as well.
Whilst doing this we have avoided going bust or having to lose our identity and be absorbed by a team from a rival code.'"
I can assume that the last reference was a barbed comment, I almost thought that's true, what's your point. I then realised that was a comment linked to London, a little off though as we have not actually done any of those things.
My reply to Dettoriman was more to do with their choice of words than my feelings on Cas and their licence situation, which are; if you can prove you are moving towards a new stadium then you are halfway there as there are a number of quality young British backs at the club along with Joe Westerman.

| Quote Colly2="Colly2"Let's resolve this.
Dummy halves and first receivers guide the team around the pitch. The dummy half and first receiver move the team from tackle 1 to tackle 5 when the team is coming out of its own half. HP and Hill have very little to do here.
Second receivers play a larger part in directing the attack when in the opposition half. HP occasionally has a role here, Hill often does. But Orr and Randall (Rinaldi) are still the keys. If you don't believe me, look at the try assists stacked up by Orr and Randall and compare them with Hill and Paul. I doubt that HP even rates on the radar here. To sum up, Hill is often a 'go to' player but only when HRL are on attack in the oppo's half. But organisers do the tough stuff too - they guide the team away from its own line early in the tackle count.
Luke Dorn. The lad has a fantastic turn of pace and a decent right-left step but he also creates tries for others. Again, check his try assists against Scott Hill's. Dorn is ahead I think.'"
Unless you consider distribution to be the same as organisation that organisation doesn't really resolve anything. It doesn't help that there is far more fluidity between the different roles the halves play in the modern game.

A not exactly telegenic stadium and a poor performing team. Not exactly the way to secure a licence for Super League from 2009.'"
We have no worries on the License mate, I can assure you on that.
We have a fantastic youth setup, a loyal fan base, And a new stadium that will be announced shortly and will be ready for mid 2010
We are looking at some decent players for next year both here and abroad
Ryan Hudson and Ben Cockayne are signed along with James Evans
Rumour has it FuiFui MoiMoi is also signed and we are in for a number more players, One of which you will know very well as Feleti Mateo (Sp) - And i dont for one minute think we will sign him but Darren Lockyer was talking to terry matterson this week

I may be talking out of turn, as I don't have much - if any - knowlwdge of happenings at Cas, but I'd have thought that Lockyer would be a more likely candidate to come to the UK than Mateo.

Dunno how quins can talk or should it be broncos? As the broncos you were allowed more money to allow you to try and get yourself a respectable position and you failed miserably and then the rfl took pity on you and let you declare bankrupt, change your name and everything was ok again
Don't go on about teams struggling because they're having to do it the proper way without the rfl helping them out every 2 seconds

When did the RFL help us out?
I have replied to thousands of knuckle dragger posts like this and I have never had an accurate reply to this question. The RFL didn't ever help us out, never mind every 2 seconds. We are Harlequins Rugby League, a seperate entity to Harlequins Rugby Union, so we haven't been absorbed into anything. When the Broncos holding company was folded at the request of the taxman, the Superleague chairmen voted us straight back in, not the RFL. We had a bigger quota then everyone else for the development years, but now have more "home grown" players on our books than some some of the "bigger" clubs and our reserves are sitting 4th in their table with the team made up by a cockney majority. We have one of the brightest prospects in the game on our books and if he hadn't broken his hand this season, he would surely be on the plane for Australia. The number of school children playing league in the London area is growing and all of this is down to the community programmes run by the Club.
If you can provide me with documented proof that the RFL bail us out all the time, then please post it....otherwise, stop blurting out the usual bull whinge and concentrate on facts.

| It's in todays edition of League Weekly on the Dave `Nosey ` Parker columnhe says it was virtually confirmed to him by an official at the Jungle (that Luke Dorn is coming back to London), who then proceeded to ask where he had got his information from, as Dave says he would never divulge that.
