| Surely the “kiwi” is packing his bags after being appointed on a 15 year contract (the amount of time he has had the chip on his shoulder) before flying in for a hero’s welcome as the clubs new commercial messiah at Plough Lane on Sunday.

This.
Despite a multi millionaire backer, our off field set up (some would say our on field set up as well) has the feel of a make do and mend set up. My gut feeling is it’s been a one man band for some time.
Much of what we did even in 2020 from programmes, to score gifs, from the state of the website to mascots, club merchandise and kids corner have all disappeared. It feels like they have tried to get away with delivering on a few things so it isn’t too embarrassing and some times they get it right, sometimes not. ( were 2 matches in is there ever going to be something about personal and corporate sponsors? Is Juma never going to be added to the squad list? Has BOSG gone? Are we ever going to correct the font on the staff page so it doesn’t look so Mickey Mouse? (Are we ever going to win? That’s a different thread- sorry)
I don’t have the issues some others had with the fella and it feels to me like he had to do it all and that’s quite tricky. What has been farmed out - website design, Twitter, match reports the jury is still out on - some basic mistakes reamian for one reason or another. I think they need to bring in more than one but we’ll see- things cost money and if there is less in the pot it’s what it is.

| Why are we waiting until the end of March? Get rid of the useless tool now. He can take all the simpletons that follow him around to. Clear out the sewer.

| He's done all the damage he can and brought the club to its knees and cleared out the long time fans so he's probably happy to move on.
Wonder which club he will ruin next, hated at Hull and London wonder whose next

Might be a position for him at Cricket Scotland
As for a replacement? Didn't the club already employ someone from Toronto who had nothing to do with their crowd attraction? Partnership manager or some such guff? I suspect he'll become the messiah for doddery and it wont take long to dawn on them that Plough Lane isn't Lamport, beer festivals in the UK are run by CAMRA and maybe we should've stayed in Ealing where a beer tent would have worked....,
Another staff member allowed to leave after achieving little . I wonder who will be the clubs kit supplier in 2023 (assuming we need one) and how long the current agreement negotiated by the outgoing commercial bod ad the CEO of the supplier runs for

Not sure where the "chip on the shoulder" comes from? As far as I know, [iEVERYTHING[/i "the kiwi" predicted would happen to the club if it didn't sort itself out in terms of marketing has come to be.
15 years ago we had 4,500 fans as an average, played in a purpose built Rugby Stadium, with a welcoming landlord, a Rugby CEO in Paul Brown and a chance to put down some real local roots in TW2 whilst not alienating the fans we'd picked up in TW8......a 10 minute drive away.
When "the kiwi" left to become "the kiwi" he mused about flowers and a 5k average.....all through hard work and shoe leather with little expense.........
Fast forward to today.
The club doesn't need a commercial hero or a messiah.....it needs to be euthanized

For those not on LinkedIn....he's concentrating on his business and his family.
Screams "sacked" to me.....maybe being able to troll fans when drunk but unable to post a Twitter feed during a game was the straw that broke the camel's back.....

I very much doubt it. Loubser has gone on record saying it was his idea to move to Wimbledon. He first went to see the ground in July 2020 (according to his pre season statement) and was set on it from then.
I have no idea if Monkey placed the adverts in the London Free Press or if it was our CEO, but it showed an absolute lack of understanding of how marketing works and an utter failure to learn from past mistakes. The matchday "experience" as bemoaned by our hosts is another grey area......whomever it fell to has failed miserably.
Milner says in his narcissistic farewell on Linked inMassive thanks to everyone who has supported what we tried to achieve during my time with the Club.'" .....which makes me think it wasn't his choice, so there's been a blood letting at this early stage....because what they tried to achieve wasn't achieved, no matter how bad the original idea was.
This could be the first time the club has rewarded failure with the exit.....
Loubser is now the only guy that counts. He will need to replace Powell and Milner and as others have said elsewhere, it's these appointments that will tell us most about where the club is heading.

| If he has been booted I'm going to go against the flow and say I feel sorry for him. I'm on record as disagreeing with a lot (probably the vast majority) he did and will never forgive him for dismissing a late friend of mine who had offered advice for free as irrelevant on the basis he was "just a librarian". Yup, but he was a librarian who chose to stay as such despite winning two national fan engagement awards as a volunteer. To the best of my knowledge Broncos haven't ever won one.
However; a reliable birdie tells me that some of Jimmy's ideas for the relaunch were blocked by someone above, I don't know who. He hadn't got everything right ( probably being kind) but he was showing signs of learning from his errors and had some good ideas - that never made it public.
This may not be quite as day/night as it looks at first glance.

I tend to agree. My gut feeling is he had a wide portfolio to deal with. Probably too wide and handled by a number of people in the past. So, good, bad or indifferent if he’s not around then things now won’t get done at all which is not exactly a plus at this time in the season and this stage of the relaunch. In many ways it could be said to be another poor management decision unless it was driven by him and not the club. As I’ve said before it felt like a small back office team already so let’s hope Broncos don’t dawdle in getting a replacement or replacements and that they don’t try and cut corners because you do get what you pay for.

| Fan engagement / recruitment / retention is a specialist area and experts command high prices.
Which makes the decision to turn down free advice from people with national awards even more baffling.
