| This is all very sad. Leigh buy Fui Fui Moi Moi, Gareth Hock, Reni Maitua and a host of marginal NRL players, but London Broncos cannot even retain Nick Slyney, let alone buy Sam Moa.
Having Nick Slyney and Sam Moa would tip the scales into making London a Championship powerhouse, and a real contender for Super League.

I don't want to get into the endless, and pointless, owner bashing. Also I don't want to be an apologist for the owner. However, the truth is until we get bigger crowds the only way we can secure "marquee" players with a sugar daddy. I always agreed with Gutterfax/Molly etc about our appalling marketing over the past years, but that is in the past - nothing to be gained in going over old ground.
The players and coaches have done their bit this year, with some great performances, we need more bums on seats, simple!

They were in 2015 pre 2016.You can't just simply jump back to SL.If you think SL is the bees knees lets see how To-loose go next season.Hope you send them the same utter crap info.
This is a guy who thinks the LSV is a hole and not fit for SL.....

| If Leigh make it into sl this year it's not just down to moi moi hock etc, Leigh have been building for about 5 years to get this point.
Personally as a life long rugby league fan Leigh gave never been one of my fave teams but I do hope they keep up the good performances and make it into SL in an auto spot, if they do it shows the super do dooper 8s is not such a daft idea

| Where have our fans gone? Well how long have you got?
I will give you one reason. GUS MACKAY. He managed to alienate many loyal and devoted fans. To the point where they walked away in disgust, never to return.
I am sure you can think of some more.

That first match against Wigan will never forget, my first job in radio as a teenager go to watch the game and report stucj with the club since through thick and thin, but that first venture should have been made to work by the sport.

Wire Quin at work: |

| I would say the biggest failure point was appointing Powell as Head coach the year we spent to SC level. That killed the club and the hardcore fan base. Barnet and Trailfinders are just consequences of such a poor decision.
Gus failed with Marketing. Seemed to focus on shaping match day without thinking we need fans to rock up.

Gus Mackay is one there are a number of others
DH appeared to use the club as a rich mans tax loss and he would would not listen to reason to people with more sports club owning knowledge than he had
Dreadful team performances - no effort, no passion, no commitment for approx three years
No decent coach - Powell was way out of his depth and should never have been there
Alienating fans
Cancelling the SAG system of help
Cancelling the supporters assistance
This does not even mention everything the back room staff did incorrectly which again allienated supporters, it was a mammoth task just trying to buy tickets.

Some disappeared when people bought the cheapest tickets possible at the stoop and then came and sat in the club seats with the club refusing to acknowledge this was a problem to the fans who bought gold tickets. It alienated fans because they put so much into paying for their tickets and others got there for nothing.
A lot of the fans disappeared when the club decided to open one stand only and there was no area for families who had to listen to bad language and also home fans who wanted to sit together couldn't. I know of a number of families who didn't come back the following season.
The drinking fans bar bill was too expensive and some drifted away whilst others brought their own drink rather than put money in Broncos pocket then complained because DH didn't put more money in. As with his pockets I should think they are not endless just the same as fans pockets are not endless.
The RFL and DH Not allowing Ian Lennigan to carry on was probably the biggest blow he understood sports management.
The RFL not allowing a dispensation for London on the salary cap did not help as we could not get the quality of player as they did in the north - players wages in the south could go no where near to offering the life they would have in the North.
Expecting season ticket fans at the stoop to pay £40 for hospitality which was the walk up price and refusing a deduction for season ticket holders. A lot walked away from the club and didn't come back.
This scratches the surface of where the fans are
