I don't dispute we should win, we "should" beat ALL the part-time sides, home and away, this does not mean we WILL, we have no "divine right"!
I'd be suprised if we did beat them all, home and away to be honest.
My point about it not being life and death just yet is.......It's the first bloody game of the season for chri'sakes!!!

To stand any chance of going up this year, 1st place is required in the Championship. Given Leigh and Bradford appear to be stronger than us, this means we must win all of our other games. I'd add to that, that we must also look to defeat the loser of the opener between Leigh and Bradford as well to stand any chance of getting 1st spot........defeating the 9 part-time outfits twice and one of the others twice would give us 40 points from a possible 44.......I believe the champions this year will need 40 points. |

You should have a great chance against us at Leigh, this weekends game is huge v Bradford and it looks like a 8k+ gate followed by a tough fixture at Fax then you guys at LSV - we could be a bit battered by then

Our first 3 games - Doncaster at home, followed by sheffield and leigh away. All three games are tough. If we want to be competing for top 4 I feel we need to win one of these but they are all difficult ones, especially to two away from home.
