| Criticism seems a little harsh on the attacking issue. What I thought worked well in the first 40 was players taking the ball to the defensive line and passing late, thus creating space. The dreadful 2 minutes at the start of the 2nd half seemed to put the mockers on any repeat in the 2nd 40.

| Same thoughts I've had since ther beginning of the season, we have lightweight forwards and need at least TWO (prefferably 3 or 4) big old ugly Props else we will continually just run outa steam!
Being half asleep at the start of the 2nd half didn't help either.

| When we have an attacking scrum or ptb in the oppo 20 and all the backs are in 1 flat line you do wonder if they have a clue!

Where exactly? It would be good to know for future occasions. When I looked round all I could see was the scoreboard.

| Frustration! Sums it up really . A pretty decent first half gave us something to build on, first score of the 2nd half was going to be decisive and not only did we let them get one, they got two!
Agree with Paddocks comment about our backs, all in a line, all static and all of them offering nothing in the way of attacking options!
Such a shame as I reckon with a bit more savvy we could probably have won today.

| Lots of valid points here about the shortcomings, but what a spirit! Was the difference in the end just those crazy couple of minutes at the start of the second half?
As Jamie Peacock pointed out, you can't do much about the inexperience but you can applaud the spirit.

It's to the right of the scoreboard......trouble is you can barely see it as it needs to be higher...And Listy all those points you make in your first post on this topic...spot on...

The clock was the other side of the TV camera position from the scoreboard. It wasn't raised so most people would have had a restricted view. Why was the time on the scoreboard not used? It was stuck on 40 the whole game.

| Now, when I sat next to Mike Roberts at GP, I always knew the time because he ran his own stopwatch pretty much in accordance with the ref's signals.
Incidentally, the drenched Radio Leeds commentator (poor s*d) had no problem seeing the countdown clock. I think he was perched on top of the East stand.

| I've been told by someone in the know that there is a problem with the main scoreboard software and they can only get the clock to count up and not down so a temporary separate clock is being used.
Now the views of someone who has only ever seen 4 RL games. The tackling yesterday was massively improved compared to previous games I've seen, the Broncos appeared to be more mobile than Huddersfield but when they got close to Huddersfields try line and the space was reduced they became clueless.
Both Broncos trys looked dubious to me, the first one looked like he put the ball down short of the line and the second was a forward pass.
THE biggest difference between the sides was how they dealt with the windy conditions. The first kick of the second half put straight out of play and fumbles when receiving the ball killed Broncos chances. There also seemed to be very little pressure on Huddersfield players receiving kicks and they certainly dealt with them better than Broncos did.
I have a question. The Huddersfield kicker was putting the ball low and bouncing, it looked to me that Broncos players could've just watched these kicks bounce out of play, why didnt they?
