| Why are these games not been played at the Hive before or after the main game like last year? Another opportunity lost for attracting support for the first team since there will be a few who go and watch the youth.

The Hive already has 3 teams playing on it. Barnet U18 and development squad play on the outside pitches, as do London Bees U18s and development squads so I see no reason why Broncos U19 should be allowed to add to the wear of the Hive pitch. If we got to the point where 8-9 teams are playing on it then it would be in a mess very quickly.
This weekend Barnet play on Sat and Broncos play Sunday. That is more than enough damage as far as I'm concerned. Maybe once the South Stand at Underhill is moved to the Hive they can look at holding these games at Underhill.
To cope with the extra wear a Desso style pitch would need installing ,meaning that it has 3% artificial fibres to prevent breakup of the surface and reduce damage caused by playing multiple games.

All very good points, only shame is those of us that used to make a point of getting to the Stoop early for the U19s were usually in for at least one competitive game in the day!

Kind of puts the claims that "we have found a home" into perspective....

So we are no more than tenants, with youth teams spread across the south east, begs the question why did we move?

Yes Broncos are tenants, as are all clubs that use the Hive.
Current details available suggest that the rooms under the New north stand will be for Broncos use and the 2 training pitches behind it will be converted to rugby pitches in the summer.
Once this happens then the Broncos operation will move from Underhill to the Hive. I would imagine that the Under 19s would be able to play their games on the 2 training pitches or at Underhill as the removal of the south stand will provide extra space.
Unless the Hive stadium pitch is upgraded to a desso then the idea of youth teams using it is a no go imo.
