34-6 at HT. this has to be the nadir if it gets any worse.

Game went to script unfortunately. 3 tries in quick succession did for us - too many one on one misses.
However if you ever wondered if one man can completely change a game, the answer is yes. And his name is Jamie! Straight off the plane and he dominated from the time he walked on. And not just with the ball - that's a given - his leadership on the field with a bunch he'd not met before today was quite remarkable.
I know he's only here for a couple of months but let's enjoy him while we can.

Jamie Soward - utter class, best player on the pitch by a mile! What an impact ! If he's that good after literally stepping off the plane, what will he be like after a week at training and getting a few plays sorted out with his new teammates !

Jamie Soward best player by a country mile. Came off the plane and bossed the game - great performance and someone the youngsters might finally learn from. Oh for another half dozen like him and we may get bums on seats

Utter class - loved his marshalling of players verbally around the park. Reas' biggest mistake not allowing him on ten minutes earlier when he was gagging at the bit to get on, could have saved two scores and a different ball game all round.
A totally different beast to Gower.

No doubt he is a class player but he also showed what enthusiasm can do.

He even tried to get into the punch-up, he really is Action Man. Loved it!

The defence in the first 25 mins is the worst I think I've seen, a big claim when watching Broncos but it was unbelievably bad. Problems out wide again but I do think that the players in the middle don't help out enough, they don't seem to have the desire to drift along the line.

However, agree with everything said about the new fella!!! how on earth can one bloke make such a difference, the whole team stepped up 2 or 3 notches when he walked out there!!
Did think for the first 20 minutes of the second half they had just swapped shirts at half time!
Overall though a shocking display from a squad that showed no pride, passion, enthusiasm, desire!!!!
Salford were not that good, but made us look like a team that deserve the wooden spoon

Rea is a complete chump for waiting until we were 28 points down before unleashing Soward. Crazy decision. Salford will have come into this game very low in confidence and it's well known that though they have an effective attack, their defence is very brittle. We should have done everything we could to get on top early on. Soward should have been on from the start.

Gower.... who's Gower His replacement today was wow, wow, wow. Forget the first 25 minutes when he wasn't on the pitch just watch the last 55. This bloke was superior to everyone else on the pitch today Just hopin' it continues as it seems he has a point to prove before he starts with Penrith next season. Shame about the result though.

Jamie Soward showed what class and leadership is...something that Rea totally lacks.

Soward is a cross between Shaun Edwards (attitude) and Dennis Moran (play) with the looks of Sid Domic. The last few weeks of the season now have something to look forward to.
