Funny you mention Rupe. Rupe was also a fan from the Fulham days so he hung around for a long time. I even bumped into him in Oz where he travelled to watch London play in the WCC in 97. He was a supporter and Season Ticket Holder for donkeys' years.
He also used to bang on and on and on about how poor the team was and the club was being run. Ironically, something that happens to this day on here. Maybe some of what he said was right???
Oh and thank F people like you still buy STs and go.

It won't be Kent....from what I've heard, Gus proposed it and the RFL immediately binned the idea. I have no reason to doubt my source on this.
I believe that DH will walk away at the end of this year.........the club will need to attract 5k gates immediately in their new home and I can't see that happening with Gus at the helm....he has failed at every turn thus far and another move will be the last opportunity to engage with the locals of Millwall/Brentford/Orient...the RFL need to get involved, because historically, the club has moved and expected people to roll up.......

The only person with Kent mania is Gus.
He could nip the speculation in the bud tomorrow.
But he won't.

I think your right. The inability of Rea to motivate the players (and the players to motivate themselves) has ensured that the essential 'good start to the season' that was needed didn't happen. We are already favourites for the wooden spoon and the players are just marking time until the end of season. The fans cant take any more after last season and the ground will soon soon be a mausoleum at matches. Away fans will outnumber the home fans and DH's loss for the season will be his worst ever.
He will then bring the curtain down as he cannot get a decent coach to take over this team, no quality players will come here and no one will now buy the club.

After yesterday's performance I'm pretty sure that the players already know this, in which case they've nothing to play for except their contractual attendance allowance each weekend. That's until the last few games when some of them will be trying to earn a contract elsewhere.

Fair point. He would agree with some of what you say.
Though you appear to only mention one of the things he said that YOU didn't like. not all the other things about coaching, players, squad depth. crap performances. Stating that if things were better on the pitch, more people would come. You appear to have forgotten all that.

we are 1,000 fans down from when this CEO started....we are 2,600 down on our first year back at the Stoop. Undeniably, a winning team would help, but it does not excuse the total lack of anything like a business plan at the club since Ian Lenagan left.....it'sa ing disgrace.
I can't believe we turned down a gave v the Storm

| A lot of what GF says is correct but lets all be very honest here not even the Messiah himself could increase crowds until this poor excuses of a team put as much effort in on the pitch as they do in collecting their pay. A lot of things may be wrong in the back office but how can anyone sell seats to watch this pile of c * * P even if he got them through the gates whats' the likelihood of them returning. The team need to look to themselves and admit the only part they are playing in the club is to bring it to an end.
