In my BARLA days Clubs were supposed! to pay amateur clubs £50 when signing amateur BARLA players, the number of clubs we had to chase, and they never did part with just £50

Not heard much from Amateur clubs about paying the membership fee to the RFL? someone else refers to WW1, well the RFL are a bit like that, only the generals, clueless!

Busy old week, this week, we’ve announced....none coming in...(checks)...yes, none. Well that’s alright then.

Thought we signed one player this week! Rob Tuliatu, on the 15 November! Time to calm down a little.

Every club is sill signing players, with 2 months until the start of the season.

They announced his signing on 8th November according to the website. Unless of course we are signing players twice to make it look like we have more than we do.

You should be signing them to coincide with training starting. Especially given that as a part time team there will be a limited number of sessions.

Yes I think that is what happened. Reaction to the signing was so strong they went around again.

There will always be a few stragglers but that’s the approach that makes sense to me. What I think has happened is they have in fact signed their squad it’s just that unlike other teams they haven’t announced them all. (The other issue is that with the constant drip drip of so many leaving it’s difficult to see the “progress” and it’s all been a little bit underwhelming)

A reliable birdie tells me that is the case

We are pleased to announce that Jermaine has been able to sign a further seven players, 4 coming from his former Club the London Skolars and 3 from our Academy, all of which give depth to the Broncos squad for 2022.
Jacob Thomas, Tom Firth, Mike Greenhalgh and Dalton Grant have moved from the Skolars and Bill Leyland, Jack Howorth and Max Allen.

We're also delighted that Jordan Williams has agreed a new deal with the Club having broken into the First Team on several occasions over the last two seasons.

So is that it then?

Didn't think in the whole email it was clear whether these were for reserves or 1st team. Either way I suspect BT will be more underwhelmed than he was yesterday!
