Not blaming you gardner (and I found it interesting too!) - but someone at the club needs to explain why it is on the public domain; but thanks for the feedback on 'discovering' the map.

I just entered my surname and street address and this link is the 2nd entry. All 4 of us as well - cheapskate tickets! I would think that someone at the club a while ago used this website to map the season ticket holders, most likely not expensive and the downside is that its public knowledge. One of the risks of not paying for proper software to do the job.
If there were no names or street numbers this would be really interesting but as it is I can see a lot of people being upset (how will they know).

Looking at the privacy pages whoever posted the info could have paid a fee and kept certain pages secret, I guess at the time they chose not to. Of course username/passwords have most likely gone with the redundant employee and so might be tricky to take down from the site. Interesting site if you are into mapping.

The Batchgeo website says the following:-The Map data security (free version)
Using BatchGeo your map data stays on your own computer unless you choose to save it using the "Continue / Save" option. If you save the map your information will be sent to our servers and stored in a secure database.

When saving the map you will be given the option to keep the map unlisted or make it available publicly. If you choose to keep it unlisted, a random and unguessable URL will be created using a 128 bit 32 character hash. This URL will not be published on our web site, it will not be indexed by Google. The only way this URL will be found by public search engines is if you choose to publish it on a public site.

The URL really is impossible to guess, in fact in the 128 bit hash there are 309,485,009,821,345,068,724,781,056 possible values.

If you use the "Public" option when creating your map we may choose to feature your map or link it in our examples section. You can change the Public / Private option at any time using the edit screen.

Anonymized information from your map may be made available to Google so as to enable advertising. To opt out of this you will need to subscribe to our Pro version.

Enhanced security (pro version)
Our Pro version by default includes the security features of the free version, and has the following additional features:

1.Information is always transferred between the client and our servers using encrypted protocols (SSL).
2.You have the option of making your map password protected or only shared amongst BatchGeo users you explicity grant permissions.*
3.Your map data will not be shared with advertisers.
4.Individual addresses will be sent to Google for purposes of Geocoding, they will be sent over SSL and decoupled from other data you upload to BatchGeo.

Then why not complain to the club immediately to have it removed? You would have been wiser to post a screen shot of the map without the direct link to the data. Kids names FFS!
