The mindset of the club has been shocking for years. It's hardly surprising it crossed over to the players.

It's even less surprising the club is now part time, under performed badly on the pitch last season and has already had to shut one stand at their relaunch due to poor ticket sales.

Quite how anyone thinks that deserves a round of applause is brain blowing.

In all seriousness I doubt very much that any normal, reasonably well rounded player would allocate any time or give a single thought to what’s said on a fans forum. There are a vast number of better things to do in one of the best cities in the world. It’s for us non players to enjoy in between drinking over priced beer.

This old moaner predicted the downfall of the club 15 years ago.......the current crop have removed any sympathy I had for Hughes and the husk he now owns

If it wasn't for full time training last year most of the home grown players wouldn't stand out in the local leagues, Awful standard of rugby (Individual and collective).

This year will be worse. Its a frightening thought.

Are the senior management who made these abjectly awful decisions (part time//move to Wimbledon) part time too, or still suckling on Dave's teat?

Let's set up a 'bring back the stuttering drunk' campaign.

They’re certainly spending time (and I assume money) on making the first game match experience a big deal. The slight lacuna in respect of attracting and retaining fans is whether there has been the same focus on the on-field product, which of course underpins everything. Only a few more days and we’ll see if they’ve got it right.

I think we know the answer to that, but as you say let’s give it a few days.
