| Our Twitter volunteer was busy at a 7's tournament today, so intermittent updates was all the club gave.
In other news, Dave's master-plan for London RL is paying huge dividends across town, where the London Skolars got absolutely and utterly demolished 96-0 by the Cougars and now sit below Cornwall on points difference

Yes an absolute hammering and worth remembering that we only used 2 of the Skolars we plundered from their first team so really difficult to see what we did in a positive light. As I have said before, to my surprise, Latu has been decent if unremarkable Championship player. Makani I think works hard in defence but does not have the toe required to be a major attacking threat. The other Skolars, I’m sure are decent human beings and I wish them well, but I’m unconvinced they were what we required.
The major concern for me is our team revolves around a short term loanee. How on earth did our recruitment get us to that place. Anyway, in the absence of a longer term recruit of correct standard I hope he sticks around for a bit as he added quality today.

I can't see Chizzy playing for Fev again, he's well down the pecking order behind Jacks, Ford, Smith, Wildie, Holmes and probably Gill as well who is out injured. However the word on the street is that he is going to end up at Keighley.

| If we can keep him until the newcastle match, and we somehow win that, it gives us a fighting chance. We still have to win at Dewsbury, win both games vs town and probably one other game to stay up. 11 points might be enough

FFS. Out gunned by Keighley that’s where we are now. Back to the drawing board.

I wonder if being sent to play for us was the final straw for DC. He took a short look and decided L1 was the best option!
So now we return to where we were 3 weeks ago except the player who comes back in as scrum half knows exactly where he stands in the big scheme of things which can hardly be motivating. Our recruitment this year. Pfah!!

Strewth we haven't really had a decent Plan A & you are hoping for a Plan B? Somebody better break out the crayons & be quick about it.

Wise words DC. Plan A was, in essence, build it and they will come. Plan B was panic buy from L1 with special focus on Skolars, Plan C was get on the phone to Aussie agents. I can’t remember what plan we are on now, possibly Plan X- do the same things we’ve done before that didn’t work and hope it works out this time.

| You may well be right BT.
Bet the Ukrainians are happy they don't have Hughes & his pet Lobster in their War Cabinet!

| Dane Chisholm seems to be the perfect kind of Journeyman that London used to have no problem attracting. This time around though, he has a young family up north and Keighley have offered him terms to stay until he's 33, by which stage he may well have eyes on a return home to NSW.
I'm not sure if he was loaned to us as a "try before you buy" scenario, but if the club hadn't at least made an effort to entice him south, I think it shows that Hughes has had enough.
For me, we either get relegated on results or Hughes will plunge us into admin and we'll be relegated anyway, giving him a guilt free out (in his mind)......

| Reckon Dane was purely a loan agreement doubt he was ever destined to be with us long term.
With his family settled up north the commute likely didn't appeal.
Real shame, he was the thing that's been missing on Sunday, a leader and organiser
