| If he took us over there must be some savings on staff who could cover admin for both clubs. The savings on ground rental etc over the Stoop will help. If we could only assemble a competitive team together id like to think a lot of dissolutioned fans would return and make us break even ensuring he doesnt ditch us a waste of money.

Good news all round then.....The Hive in SL with a few extra chain rattlers in the ranks. In fact, that's brilliant news.

'stralians. Having moved to New Zealand, my regard towards our sheep stealing cousins across the pond has hardened slightly.
If the RFL won't play ball on the cap allowance and London Weighting, then to allow us a few extra foreign players is the least they can do to "level the playing field" so to speak.

Australians in London don't have the same reputation they used to.

Kiwi politician Robert Muldoon summed it up perfectly when he said:
"New Zealanders who emigrate to Australia raise the IQ of both countries"

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

I hope you're not on the wind-up Lister, that would be amazing news if true.

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

| The only problem I can see here is with the Borders Agency. If the RFL have squared things with them, I await the reaction of our friends in the North with interest

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| Grant Sharp? article boldly announces in League Weekly, that London Broncos will take no part in Super League next season as the club us on the verge of collapse.
While Geoffrey Bagleys from Leeds, readers letter in League Express says London must not be rescued financially again, then states we all know this has happened at least once previously, evidence, proof?
The Club's future? stated by journalist Sparks differs from what two of we're told just prior and over the weekend. Also Why do Northerners constantly peddle the line about funding we have been given?

Well It was TR who told Lister and you would think he would be the one who should know. If Anthony Kleanthous doesn't take us on under better terms from the RFL then it surely will be over.

Yes I know, my discussion was with a contact, Thursday evening, they did not discuss players, but said we are in Super League next season, that the ground negotiations needed to be just completed. It will be disappointing if we have both been mislead, but then again it may be just a journalist putting 1 + 1 together and coming up with = 3

Lets hope that if and when we move to the Hive he comes to the games and becomes the main owner in the very near future. We need some money put into marketing in this 'new' location to ensure evryone in the area knows we are playing there.

Exactly what I'm still hearing from my souce. Superleague membership in 2014 is a done deal on already agreed terms IF we provide a suitable ground. Here's hoping the ground hasn't put a spoke in the wheel......
