Excellent start to my week.....I was really fearful of looking at the result this morning, be well done the lads and the Coach.....speaking of coaches, did the oft discussed massed hoards of Wakey materialise?

There were stacks of them there, buses stacked up in the nearby streets.

On the pitch we destroyed them after 20 minutes, they were blowing heavily. Brough given 10 for being a petulant sod although the game was well won by then. We should have had over 50, missed 4 or 5 conversions, close on a few more tries. It was an out and out hammering in the second half. If it wasn't for my Binos I would have missed the second half asI was at the Wakey scoring end!!

You got one out of 3 right dog. DH had a smile on his face at the end.

Yep, Wakefield didn't have too much once their big fellas were worn down. Their great start was penalty assisted and turns out it flattered them.

Well done on a good win today, very well deserved. Wakefield were well and truly shown up and shown to be lacking fitness, a concern I've had with them through preseason.

Egg b. London played the right game today, soon as fifita came on first 3 drives were straight in his face.
Danny Brough went missing a bit and stuck to form getting himself sent to the bin. You have a big pack who withthe new 8 sub rule suffered today and will struggle against more mobile teams.
Penalty count was actually 5 a piece until the last 3 minutes where london gave away another 3 defending the line!

NB they scored 2 scores from penalties early in the first half plus one when we turned the ball over. Its about context not just numbers

The big pack isn't the problem, it's that they are an unfit big pack that's the problem. They've had the same issue for the past couple of seasons, it takes a good 8 weeks from the first game for the pack to get themselves into any kind of shape, and they look in the worst shape I've seen them in the last 3 years. Towards the middle to back end of last season, the whole pack were doing 30+ min stints, but at the start they are slow and lazy

Those idiot Wakefield fans who let off the firework, ripped out the seats and abused the touch judge. Let themselves and their club down.
