Well the Sunday morning after the Yowies game should provide some entertaining opinions on the whole set up.

The whole thing needs a massive review and to be fair, this may have happened.

For me, open the gates up, let the crowd in for nothing, go heavy on the local leafleting and community work on run up to game, take the minimal financial hit for stewarding and car park management - but engage the LBSA for data capture and ensure Buck and Dusty are handing out fixture lists etc (queue GF as I am no marketing expert). The union kicks off at 2pm so not sure how many of the fans will stick around until 645pm.

If the weather is as bad as last weekend that's going to be a long time in the cold and wet for any vaguely interested union fan to stick around!

I think the idea of opening up the gates for this one is a great idea, it's not as if a friendly is going to generate a crowd of more than a couple of hundred surely?-the club would probably makeup the losses on extra food / drink sales. Invite the locals in to come and watch us, who knows some of them may stick! And as you say, make sure their data is captured!

There's the Sir Michael Balcon, the Mall not too far from Ealing Broadway station.
Nearest pub I saw as I walked back from Trailfinders to the Broadway is the Duke of Kent. Fuller's pub I think, looked OK

I have worked out that it would be a quicker journey to fly to Croatia then it is to get public transport from North London to the Trailfinders!

It is a pain with Castle Bar Park closed on Sundays, and the facilities are not ideal, but it's not Outer-Mongolia and from their RFU site it's clear it's a work in progress, so it will improve.

Work in progress? If we have ANY aspirations of returning to the top flight from here it's going to have to be- and progress is going to have to be rapid! Turnstiles and a temporary stand ASAP would be a start!
