Down on the Fev site as a hooker but played majority of games this season at prop or loose forward

When we last played at Fev, someone joked with him that he should play for London. His reply was, he could not do that because he would miss his mum. Then he laughed.
Now we know why.

Bussey's a good player though his position has been hard to nail down - played scrum half for Fev reserves when they won the reserves' championship, started off last season playing stand off (which definitely isn't his position) and despite being clearly undersized for the position has been playing prop lately, and going well, developing a decent offload; his best position is probably loose forward I'd say. Disappointed he has left us as he's a Fev lad who has come through the ranks but I guess full time vs part time has been the overriding influence. He did have a couple of his best games against the Broncos and in the Championship everyone seems to want to sign the players who play well against them, again an influence of the lack of televised games I guess.

We have a bit of an issue with some signings from champ clubs, you are in the position of asking part timers to give up what ever day jobs they have to go full time with us and up sticks to move south or commute, so sort of limits the options. Signings we have made so far, no complaints tho, we suffered last year due to the nature of the game at champ level, so signing players with more championship experience can only benefit.

As The Phantom Horseman says, a good player who I suspect will go well for you, and personally disappointed to see him go. I also thought that his best position would be Loose Forward, but he has filled out this last year and will make a good off loading prop. Maybe not the biggest prop and maybe a little injury prone, but a big heart, good ball skills and overall a good signing IMO.

Always impressed by Bussey when he played against us, particularly in the final. Great signing, will have a lot of impact

I think that Channing is mentioned somewhere in here. Anyway, he's gone to Fev. Wonder how they'll use him?
