| May as well be with the problems of getting there. If you have mobility problems it could turn out to be a cow of a journey but never mind MIcky1234 or Nkpom will be there without a care in the world about ahyone else sittin in their seats feeling very smug that they got there

| Better for me than having to drag over to white heart lane for every game, North circular is always a pig. That or the m25 and hemel
Anyone tried the bar at ealing on a match day when the yawnion is playing As gutters knows it's all about getting a decent cup of coffee for me ☺
It did start to get a but embarrassing a Barnet when the wedding reception people were competing with fans for parking on match day, hope we don't have the same problem.
It's a done deal tho, Ealing is where we are playing so might as well make the best we can of it!
Other option is to complain the whole season, personally I am gonna enjoy my rugby.
As for my seat and sitting comfortable most games this season have been working so nope not nicking anyone's seat.

Quite right Micky it was terrible at Barnet having to go through turn styles and all that. It was the same at The Stoop aswell.
No wonder we moved. At least now you can get in on matchday without all that agg. I bet the visiting fans cant wait to turn and barge in and take your seat. Still there is no problem with that as Im sure Dave wont mind. Not long to go and we can hear his words of wisdom as regards what we can expect for next season. As if we didnt know.

| Mate, do you really think any of us are over the moon about about where we are going to be playing next year? I personally think moving from the stoop was a crazy decision, fact was harlequins didnt reallybwant us there, yep i would of course prefer us to be there or at Brentford, Barnet at a push, but we ain't. It's gone it's in the past.
So choices are accept it ir not, it's happened, it's where we are next year, not a lot we can do about it, you either want to watch rugby league or not. Might as well try to make the best of what we have.

I feel for the guys that come from medway etc, but come on let's be honest it's not outer siberia.'"
Hypocritical nonsense. You have a go at Gutterfax for disrespecting people who still go, but are happy to do so yourself if anyone dares to criticise the club. You have a go at people who travel much further for home games than most northern fans go for away games. You still haven't explained your spurious comparison to Leeds fans, which I can only conclude was used just to slag off fans that don't sheepishly crawl in support to every decision made by the club.
I have never complained about doing a four hour round trip to games. I have been doing it for the last 28 years because I have wanted to watch rugby league and wanted to watch the club I support. However, I have to ask whether the club I support actually wants me there.
The club knows that transport links are significantly worse for Trailfinders on a Sunday than a Saturday and yet have chosen the former matchday. I cannot be the only person who will now be spending five hours plus getting there instead of four hours if games were on Saturday. In fact I suspect the vast majority of fans will have a longer journey on a Sunday. It may not matter to you but I suspect that does make a difference for many. While the bull comes out that they want to make it a club again, the disrespect shown towards supporters time and time again shows they couldn't care less.
At a time when they have haemorrhaged crowds to sub Chiswick levels one would have thought not finding new and original ways to hack off those few remaining supporters would be sensible. Still no doubt you will find ways of criticising this as being unduly negative. Given the way crowds have fallen I wonder if a sub 100 crowd is on the horizon and if you will still find a way to support the powers that be at that time.

| I also want to see live rugby league competitions in London but unfortunatley for the last 6 years that has not happened. And while I struggle with extra expense and difficult 4 hour round trips I will try and understand and have sympathy for the club owner who is responsible for the demise of the club sitting in his 2015 aston martin to make the journey. That will ease my travel plans no end and it will be gratifying to know that some one is comfortable in the club and happy with the journey

David Hughes - The Gerald Ratner of Rugby League? Discuss. Or not as the case may be.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_66844.jpg |

| Perhaps said Aston Martin could detour every home game & pick a fan up as a courtesy?
By the end of the 3 year Trailfinders lease it should have got round to everybody still watching.
Maybe even before then.

| As you sit on the bus, bemoaning David Hughes traveling to the game in his 2015 Aston Martin. Do so in the comfort of knowing that, whatever it has cost you to attend, it has cost David Hughes personally £ 30 000 to watch the same game that you will see.

Im sure somebody will put me right here if I am wrong but iirc were we not paying less per game when we last played at a proper Rugby Stadium, ie,The Stoop. Its a pity Gutters isnt around to confirm one way or the other.

Seeing as the club is run solely for his benefit I'd say he's getting off fairly lightly.

| The costs at the ground may be less, but we get a lot less Sky money now.

| S Essex, am a bit confused as to why you have gone off on one, I have not slagged anyone off in fact quite the opposite, I fully understand the issues that people face getting to games, and yr talking to someone who as a season ticket holder travelled around 120 miles each way to games. And having spoken to other folk here that come from medway etc yep I realise costs rack up pretty quick.
My Leeds comment, was merely pointing out that in London we have pretty good transport links when you compare to other cities. Not denying that the majority of Leeds fans or Wigan or wire or hull don't have the distance to travel, but a lot of them do have to resort to bus car etc to get to games because that's the only way.
Take the club to Charlton, people complain about transport links, take the club to Twickenham look at amount of complaints about that, same for Barnet.
There are lots of options for all of us, the club is never going to be able to please everyone is it?
We are where we are because that's what the club have had to do, not applauding em for it, not heaping praise on em, never have, i the choice we have is to go watch or not, the fact using public transport for me has never really been an option has never stopped me coming, yep that's my choice.
The club ain't trying to alianate fans it's a club that's doing what it has to do to keep going.
Cowgirl good job dh is running the club for his benefit then coz no one else is gonna do it are they?
Back to original q
Has anyone been to an ealing game, see how they run a match day
