Gotnofax only one person offered you up a bet, maybe he should have called it a wager, between 2 people but it's quite obvious you are not willing to take part or stand by your words. That's fine, just say so.
Nobody suggested going into a bookies.

He dint offer me a bet. He hounded me for an unfair bet.......given I simply conveyed my opinion and didn't say " I bet the three pro teams will win all their games against the other 9" his offer and subsequent hounding have done little other than point to him having a gambling problem. Others have chipped in......as I say, its a bit early for panto season.

I have a task for you....if you're up for it. I broke the news of our survival on these boards at a few minutes to 7 on december 13th 2013.......see if you can find anyone including the bbc and the club And hive websites who broke it before me.

Not sure i speak for everyone here, but i suspect you might have been the only interested party who ever visited the barnet fc site.......but i am delighted it was up there. As for hints and allusions, we'd had plenty of those in the build up, but no actual confirmation.

Good god man, the bloke posted one suggestion that he would offer up a wager of £50 for charity that your predictions would be wrong, not sure if you noticed but it was you that started on about odds how is that hounding you. Quite obvious you have no faith in what you were suggesting it's ok. WHat has any post in Dec 13 got to do with anything apart from your self importance good grief man or what relevance does it have to do with this topic?.
