Alas, I do not have access to the finances needed to dig the Broncos out of the hole they are now in. As I have said....in SL we had a chance of attracting money, but now we are in the 2nd tier, the only income we will muster is from the RFL's central fund, the owner and the fans.
I think Central funding will stretch to 500k in 2016......400 fans at 15 quid a pop for 15/14 games is 90k at best so without Hughes we'll have say 600k to try and compete with clubs that have more income and if we get lucky, we then meet clubs with a cap 3 times the size of our income.
Oh...hang on. the 600k is for EVERYTHING.......including rent etc to AK.......and without wishing to annoy the barnet fan on here,if each fan this year gave AK a tenner in income, he's already said he's not happy with the 170k he's got (not counting the RFL bribe)....so we could be looking at 33% of out income on a home?

It doesn't add up.......and I repeat, I'll ask Hughes what the hell he's doing if I get the chance. What I won't do is sit (or stand) there smiling in the hope that it'll be "alright"......because sad to say, it won't.

Just to clear something up BTW.....I have never accused fans who attend games of being sheep or fanboys. I have on the other hand accused those who repeatedly say "what can we do about it" those names....the supporters trust thingy tried (unsuccessfully) to fill a coach to Castleford and muster support (unsuccessfully) to help market the club on the tube and at Origin games.....I'd have been at all events, as I was in the past, running coaches and leafletting, clearing up after the Union lot so the kids could have a decent xmas event etc....so I believe I am entitled to have my say. If you don't like it, search for the ignore button.......or simply wait until this forum drops down to the next tier and I'll then be pretty much posting to myself

Hughes won't change anything he's doing until either "fans" like some on here who genuflect at his altar on match day point out the glaring ing mistakes he continues to make or he's the only one in the stadium watching the team.
Stat Attack.......47 competition wins (25%) from 184 games whilst shipping an average of 33 points a game being watched now by 72% less fans, including 80% less season ticket holders....that's what spending 15 million of your own money whilst blindly ignoring anyone and everyone who actually wants to help...wants you to succeed and unless he ploughs another 15 million into it (and walks away now letting professionals (not employed by him) get on with it) then the club is dead.
I didn't sign up for SL only either......but I didn't expect the carnage that it is either.

Fair enough.......the flyers delivered themselves, the coaches to wales and Wakey booked and filled themselves....the stoop hosted meetings between corporate's interested in the club that were organised by nobody, the concourse area of the stoop was cleared up by some magic pixies to ensure that supporters enjoyed the xmas open day, the RFL most assuredly didn't say I was just the type of person the club needed to employ...

Don't get me wrong. I've done nothing compared to some but I've done a damn sight more than most of what fans are left......no interest in a coach to castleford and 3 people helped to market the club at Origin, 5 on the tubes......yeah, the Broncos fanbase are a loyal and hardworking bunch aren't they!

Good for you, but you seem to be having problems with your tenses. What you did years ago before you left the country is in the past. Your protestation that you are not standing for it is in the present. I can't understand why you are so reticent about telling us what you are doing. One can only suspect you are doing nothing and will continue to do nothing.

Are you perry posting under another ID? I ask because you too seem to have trouble discerning between "not standing for something" and "doing something about it".
Not standing for it is what 75% of the fan since 2008 have done.......they probably watch out for results now and then but as they weren't missed by Hughes and his team, they are lost to the club, probably forever. Not standing for it is letting the people responsible know that they are making mistakes.....that I have done.
As for "doing something"? What can anyone do to repair the damage done? I'd rather let Hughes know how I felt about it rather than simply roll up and smile as weget spanked again and again though.....and that I have done!
