| As disappointing as yesterday was, it's worth bearing in mind that we were without Robertson, Randall, Lee, Clubb, Channing, Fusi, Melling, Sarginson, JO'c and Colbon (tho who knows what the situation is with Colbon...surely he would have played yesterday if he was fit?)
I doubt there's another team in the league who would have beaten Wigan with so many first choice players out.
Just our luck to have Radio London featuring us (Brian Barwick was there too).

Without his efforts in 2005 we wouldn't exist....he wanted to continue supporting us as well as Wigan but as usual, the RFL made the wrong call there...his Sports Cafe business continued to sponsor the club though.......he is anything but a turncoat.

| Is there any truth in the rumour that on Tony Rea's first training session last year he asked the team to take up their normal playing positions. All of them promptly ran under the posts.

| Wigan were very good, and we just....weren't. I would get angry about it but weren't we all rather expecting something like this? I put three quid on us before the game at 7/1, I need my head examined.
I would say a total clear-out of the squad is needed, but we've done that before and it's yielded the same mediocre results. How do you solve a problem like us?

we had 10 players unavailable, even if we had a full side we would still have lost by plenty!

Yes but of those unavailable, only half would actually have made an improvement anyway. That's a bit of a red herring.

| I think we certainly missed the 5 that played in the Bradford game, though doubt anyone would disagree that we would have been beaten anyway.
Sadly, it just reinforces the gulf there is between the top and bottom teams. We simply don't have the strength in depth in our team (or the quality for that matter).
£1.7m is not sufficient to pay the costs of a top 8 team in London, imo.
On a side note, IL was of course at the game. He told the Wigan players to mingle with their fans in the Kings Bar, which they did.
My sister got Sam Tomkins autograph. Who knows, may be worth money one day.

It's not the fact that we lost, or would have lost - it's the spineless way the team sent out to represent London performed! Seen plenty of heavy defeats over the years but it was the total and utter non-performance on Saturday that still sticks in my craw!
