First post and my ten pence worth....
London Broncos represent the whole of the south east of England. So if they were located in Reading or Oxford what would it matter.

Some of the moans on here are comparable with the flat cappers up north who don't want it out of the m62.

In regards to a move to Gillingham I don't feel it would be too bad, the area itself is very similar to the northern towns, very working class.

To those of you who say you won't attend a ground outside London, shame on you. Its your little minds that keep the great game from spreading further.

KEEP LONDON _ IN LONDON icon_hug.gif

Yes a move to Kent may be better for those in Kent - but Gillingham ain't London. Those of us who oppose the move believe league can work in London and therefore think it is wrong. I have followed this side for 33 years but Medway is beyond the pale. If it is Medway then the Skolars are my team! and btw by train Gillingham is nearer for me than the Stoop"

A move to Kent will signal surrender and final defeat of building a SL team in the capital, and a final insult to all the loyal fans who have kept this dream alive for more than three decades. It would certainly offer a big opportunity to the Skolars.

I wouldn't bother going to Gillingham either, it's too far for me. I already do a 3 hour round trip to get to Twickenham but it only costs me just over a tenner on public transport. Getting to Gillingham would be a 5 hour round trip and would cost me closer to £28 by train.

That's a big statement for a first post.

I've been a season ticket holder for 25 years, but have also sponsored and administered amateur rugby league in the south.

I won't be going to Kent.

I feel neither guilty nor small minded about that

Scrap another 2 season tickets off the list if we end up in Gillingham.

On the plus side, i and my wife will get letter from Gus next season asking (or singing icon_lol.gif ) us to come back and give us free tickets to first game at Gillingham

Only way i will go to Gillingham on regular basis is for free tickets, then it is 50 / 50. If we were winning 60 % or more of the games i guess you would have more enthusiasm to make effort, fingers crossed for this season.

I live in Feltham, so attraction of Broncos is the locality. I know many people travel miles and miles for the club which i admire, but i dont have the time and money to be commuting around the M25 on regular basis.

Went to Gillingham last year and view was not very good in the main stand, not where we sat. ran out of programmes and ran out of beer, whole thing was complete farce. Lest we forget the many poor Hull fans who couldnt get in the ground till nigh on half time which was complete joke considering how far they travelled

London Skolars here we come then

Fair do's.

Just my opinion, yeah Gillingham would be better for me due to location etc.

Guess we will just have to wait and see where we end up!

seriously?
your first post was a sweeping comment as to how anyone who didn't welcome a move to Kent was a flat capper.......it's taken me 10 years to attract the level of abuse you deserve.
